New Alliance - OOC

Hi guys. This is Carlin and I succumbed to impatience... so Sebastian Faust has been dropped and Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch is now in-game! I'm sure everyone won't mind since she has a lot of plot potential for the masses! SHIELD, magic users, reincarnated sons...

So here is a little about the Scarlet Witch. Wanda is the daughter of Magda & Magneto as well as the twin of Quicksilver. She was raised by a Romani couple, but they were killed when a mob got all 'eww gypsies' on them. She was separated from her brother and rescued by Magneto where she reluctantly worked for his Brotherhood of Mutants for four years. She turned herself in after she left and was picked up by Checkmate. She worked as an agent for the organization and met Vision. They got married, retired, had the twins, lost the twins and Vision was dismantled, then repaired but with no emotions.

Wanda had a breakdown that is a little more serious than the one she had after the events in West Coast Avengers but not a bad as House of M. Basically her powers went nutty and Fury placed her in a private institution for nearly two years until she got herself under control. This was the time Tommy and Billy were reincarnated at a random point in the time stream. Anyway, she is released, lives a civil life and starts to learn magic. She is now a SHIELD liaison with the many magic users she has been interacting with for several years. For a more in-depth look, you can read her profile here.

Now... plots! She knows people! Who would like to know Wanda? Only a select few would know she had been institutionalize (Checkmate/SHIELD high-ups) so to everyone else they don't know she had those issues. I had her as a secretary for a time but no specifics so she could work for a player character? Also, I didn't specify who it was that taught her magic (I was kinda thinking of making it Madame Xanadu), so there is also that role someone can fill. She'll know magic users, obviously, so yay magic users!? Now I stop my rambling and let you guys pick at the newbie character.

Soooo, this is Tony Stark. Genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist; got captured by the Ten Rings in 2008, spent some time in a cave with a box of scraps and came out with armor, and then proceeded to announce to the world that he is Iron Man. Currently continuing to run his business (weapons-free, focusing on arc reactor energy) and pursue his own goals to hunt down everyone who got illegally dealt his weapons (Stane diversified and branched out - if you're a decently organized criminal, you too could have bought Stark weapons). Also pointing and laughing at SHIELD, because hell if he's becoming an agent or otherwise cooperating.

Hey everyone!

This is Brett, and character #3 is, as you can see, the scarlet-clad assassin Elektra. Her past is deeply couched in dealings with the Hand and the Chaste, as in Marvel. What has changed here is that the Hand is an extension of Ra's al Ghul's League of Assassins. As of right now, the tragedy that set her on her villainous path has not yet occurred. She is a rookie SHIELD Agent, having been with the organization for not quite a full year.

I am eager to say that this status will change quite early on in our narrative, and her transformation into lethal assassin will be happening in game. Deputy Director Hill, Director Fury: my deepest apologies.

Her past is steeped in DC Lore as well, having spent much of her childhood in that country known as Kahndaq. For the full details on her, please read the bio!

I love plots, and am open for just about anything anyone can throw at me. So please, hit me up for anything you'd like to do! I've also posted her on the OCC Question thread, because I love it there.

You other assassins? I'm calling you out. I look forward to seeing us interact... whether as partners or rivals, remains to be seen. Other SHIELD agents? Would love to establish ties with you before I break them in violent and painful ways.

Hi guys! Rose here, following the trend of introducing new characters: Gwen Stacy. This will be my third and final character for a while. Gwen just turned last 18 last month, and is a senior at Gotham High. She transferred there in time for the new semester in January. She and her parents have all made the move--that's right, folks! An NPC Captain George Stacy is now part of Gotham PD-- because of stuff that went down in New York.

Basically, Captain Stacy headed an investigation into the Torino crime family, one of the most powerful families still operating in the New York mob, and was relentless in going after them. In an attempt to keep Captain Stacy from arresting members of their gang, the Torinos began to harass his family. They were particularly intent on harassing Gwen, who began to carry a knife with her everywhere. Finally, it was decided that the best thing to do was put in for the transfer to Gotham. The Torinos would be less likely to harass the family once they were across the river, where deals and alliances with the crime families there prevented them from doing anything.
