Namaste and Good Morning Who: Rita and open What: Breakfast When: Just past 8 AM Where: Thalia's Diner Status: Incomplete
Unsure of how exactly she was to approach this restaurant, it just seemed so...odd. Or, rather, it was odd that it was considered so odd. American culture had changed radically within the last sixty years, while hers had not really changed all that much at all. That they had 'themed' restaurants based around their own culture, it just seemed so curious that she had had to see what it was like.
In an hour she would be leading a yoga class, but a light breakfast was necessary first. Of course she could go to a staff meal, but it was not nearly as interesting as those offered in other places around the ship. Admittedly Rita had a fondness for Western breakfasts, they were just so very different from their other meals, while Nepalese breakfasts did not differ greatly from the meals offered at lunch or dinner. True, she would love a small bowl of kheer with some roti with butter, but pancakes were quite delicious.
Peeking around the corner of the door, Rita's blue eyes widened at the sight of the diner's interior. Clad in a pair of yoga pants and a cropped white tee with blue sleeves, she was a rather unassuming figure, pushing back some strands of her dark hair that had escaped the long braid down her back. With a deep breath to fortify herself, the young woman stepped forward, not quite sure where to sit.
