"Oh, yeah, it's lovely," Kevin said, a childlike gleam showing in his eyes. "Always something to do there, especially down the beach. Love the roller coasters, too. My dad worked just off the pier, actually, so I spent most of the days there when I wasn't in school." He gave her a moment to look over the menu, lost in his own memories, and was a bit surprised when she ordered. "Wouldn't have picked you for a pancake kind of girl," he said with a surprised grin.
