With a dip of her chin, Rita sat herself neatly in the seat offered. For a moment she looked around the restaurant, marveling but not quite understanding the majority of the decorations on the walls. The music was interesting as well, and she knew that many of her parents' generation had found artists like Elvis Presley fascinating.
Strange, but fascinating.
"Why thank you," she said immediately to the compliment, a small smile on her lips. "I am originally from Nepal, and it does linger in my tone." In his words she could detect a not wholly unfamiliar accent herself, and was oddly comforted by the presence of an Englishman. "You are from...the Northwest?" Rita guessed, not completely sure that she was correct in pinpointing where it exactly was from.
