Joseph had banished Bruno from his dressing room because the ghoul didn't deserve the sharp end of his temper. Normally, with two days to a major court event, especially the annual Toreador Halloween Orgy, he'd have his costume hanging ready for that night. With great anticipation. While Joseph's masquerade preferences were rather Victorian, it wasn't as if dressing up was the point. A natty suit and clever mask had been more than serviceable for Joseph over the last two decades.
But since the fire and the rather traumatizing way Rhys had found out about Henry's death, Joseph hadn't been less in a party mood since his stroppy decades in Kent. Leaving off picking out an outfit for when he couldn't put it off anymore, he quit his dressing room before he gave into the urge to wreck it in frustration. Stalking into the living room area, Joseph flopped rather dramatically down on the settee next to his lover. Likely interrupting Rhys doing something more productive than the petulant sulking the Brujah was currently engaged in.
"Never in my unlife have I wanted to go to a party less," he groused. "Actually, never while I drew breath either. You'd think the Toreador would have more respect for losing one of their own, especially since we still don't know who started the bloody fire."
