Joseph saw daily what Henry had seen in Rhys when he chose to embrace him. His lover was a quick study in all ways. He'd done a fantastic job at the memorial for the victims of the Halloween massacre, being present enough to keep Joseph level while not tripping over himself or hiding. While the Halloween party was informal to the extreme, there'd be all sorts of politicking going on in the ballroom. Joseph would indulge in some, because it was necessary. While the Halloween party was technically a court function, it would hardly be the usual pleasant affair it was for the Brujah. His lover's presence would definitely improve it.
He chuckled at Rhys' flirting. The young Tremere was definitely easing more out of his shell everyday. At least with Joseph. But his confidence would increase more in other situations as he'd already repeatedly shown his own. "Oui, mon amour," he agreed in a throaty purr before he leaned in for another hungry kiss. While he wasn't pausing, he certainly appreciated Rhys' efforts.
