I want to rethink Mobius's work.

Before, he went through data attempting to find a timeline we could anchor ourselves to. It limited when we could attempt the jump and I think may have been why we still reset. That's not mentioning the issues a majority of us had remembering who we were.

I say we make our own timeline. We still have all the research necessary, but I was looking at the metamath, and I think this could be much more feasible without the drawbacks of attempt number one.

So if those of you who worked with Mobius are willing to work with me on this, let me know.

So the first attempt was Empire City?

Mhm. But getting a lock back to that world has been basically impossible and the reset problem still hasn't been resolved.

So we need to fix the reset problem first. Then we can lock in on a world.

Unless we can circumvent having to fix the reset problem by creating a completely new timeline. No world to "lock" on. No world seed needed. Just a brand new, independent timeline of our own making. Derleth would still think it "has" us because technically, it does.

We'd have to dig deeper into what causes the resets. Is it part of this Derleth experiment? Or is it a part of whatever explosion those alternative versions of us caused? Was the Derleth experiment supposed to go to one another universe and then back and that's why we keep going to the void after a world?

Did that universe complete explode and it's gone now?

We've looked into the resets for almost a year now. That way lies madness. Better to circumvent it all than attempt to untangle that knot.

Okay, but if we don't figure that out, how is Derleth going to know not to move us?

Because Derleth won't know it resets in the first place. It will also be in an alternate timeline.

Aren't all of these things alternate timelines? It still somehow knows? Or am I missing something?

Possible I'm missing something considering four of me have been here before.

Yes, Derleth has AUed us.

We, in making this timeline, would essentially AU Derleth.

Which sounds like semantics but I think I have the metamath on this.

Okay, you got the math, I'm going with it. Let's triple check it so we don't explode the campus a second time. Especially since I haven't been around to
