Upon hearing that Ariadne had been abandoned by her loser of a date, Tuck had wanted to offer to show up and try to salvage what was left of her evening. She could rant to him and he would try to make her night not a disaster. Of course then she went and invited him and offered him dumplings!

What a delight!

He pulled on what he hoped was a nice shirt and was out the door before he could think twice about it, but not without a goodbye snuggle from Flora. When he walked into the restaurant, he found Ariadne easily. "Hey, you," he said, offering her a hug if she wanted it.

	"Good dreams," Ariadne said, stretching her arms out from beneath the sheets, feeling a little like a cat luxuriating in the sun. "What time's it? Still early?" It didn't feel late, but her own apartment was up a whole lot higher than Tuck's, so it was a little harder to get a read on the angle of the sun waking up in a bed on the ground floor. "All the major breakfast food groups are a-okay," Ariadne said, reaching out again, this time to poke him in his cheek, in the cute little dimple caused by his smile. "I'm not a huge fan of beef, for reasons, but it seems pretty unlikely you're gonna try and cook me beef for breakfast. Now," she said, pushing herself up in the bed. "Are you a 'let's cook it together' kinda guy or are you a 'sit there and let me make you food' kinda guy?"

	"Tyrannical Tuck," he joked. Then he snickered and rose from the bed in search of his pajama bottoms. "You should taste my béchamel some day then," he grinned. He second he was up. As Flora raced Tuck to the yard, Ariadne started to pull on the clothes she'd been wearing last night, checked her phone to make sure Dionysus hadn't made himself sick on the cheesecake last night, and sent him a good morning beautiful selfie.

Barefoot, she made her way through into the kitchen after Tuck. "Do you trust me to make breakfast tea to a proper British standard?" she asked, spotting his kettle and giving him another little grin. "I promise the microwave won't be involved even a little."

"Oooh, the true test!" Tuck grinned. He bustled around the kitchen, getting everything ready, and getting out a teapot and his tea for Ariadne to mash. Then he starting mixing and cooking at the same time, something he was very good at.

By the time everything was nearly ready, the kitchen smelled amazing and Tuck and Ariadne were chattering companionably. Flora started barking and Tuck handed the spatula to Ariadne. "Either someone's here, or Flora's found a gnome! Give me a moment!" and he went to check.

It was the first option. Will had arrived home from Patroclus' place, his hair a little scruffy, in need of a shave, in yesterday's clothes, but home. He could hear Flora going off so he went around to the side gate to see if he could calm her down, just as Tuck came out. "Good morning," he said, his voice a little rough. He'd had enough drinks last night to be feeling slightly scratchy this morning, although not properly hungover. "What can I smell?"

Will's arrival made Ariadne think she should do something more about her sex-tangled hair. Not because it was evidence of sex, since she was certain everyone involved knew exactly what happened last night and there was no need to pretend otherwise, but because she'd flirted with Will over the journals a little, and she had to admit she was quite interested in meeting him in person. She'd managed to plait it into a fat, loose braid by the time Tuck came back, and beamed at the both of them. "Will Scarlet, in the flesh," she said, tossing her braid over her shoulder and coming over. "What a pleasure."

	"Oh, he absolutely is," Will said cheerfully, sitting down at the table. "He rules the kitchen with an iron fist, forcing anyone who walks into his domain to eat his cooking until they are stuffed. "I'll make you coffee, love," Tuck said, heading over to flick on the kettle again. It had just boiled so it wouldn't take long at all. "In the meantime here, get tucked into these! Or face my breakfast tyranny," he chuckled. He carried the stuffed crepes and hashbrowns over, followed by the hollandaise he had made himself, and the bacon. There was plenty for all three of them. Then he fetched the coffee plunger and prepped it before carrying that over too.

"It's so great you can meet each other," Tuck said, reaching for his tea. "Ariadne fed me some very spicy curry last night, it was delicious."

	"I did do that - have you been to Cafe Tibet? Not far from here, tiny, spicy, cheap, perfect. We had a good time," she smiled, sharing a look with Tuck, then looking back at the food - there was certainly a lot. "I'm not going to be hungry for the rest of the day..." "Nope," Will agreed. "You won't. Ahhh coffeecoffeecoffee!" He took the plunger and poured a mug of the invigorating brew for himself, and enjoyed a big sip of it with a sigh before he even looked at the food. "Well I'm glad you kids had fun. I'm not sure if I've tried there, guess I'll put it on the list." He tucked into the delicious food with gusto, happy to fill his stomach.

"So," he said, after a minute or two of eating, "take it you got on?"

"I don't think it's something I've done before," Ariadne said, blowing on her tea and having a think. "Though," she added, with a shake of her highly amused head. "Dionysus and I were reunited after someone else stood me up and he walked into the restaurant instead - so, okay, it might be a bit of a pattern. But if I was intentionally dating two guys in one night," she added, with a sly smile at the both of them, "I'd rather have them both there at the same time." Was that too flirtacious for breakfast?
