Upon hearing that Ariadne had been abandoned by her loser of a date, Tuck had wanted to offer to show up and try to salvage what was left of her evening. She could rant to him and he would try to make her night not a disaster. Of course then she went and invited him and offered him dumplings!

What a delight!

He pulled on what he hoped was a nice shirt and was out the door before he could think twice about it, but not without a goodbye snuggle from Flora. When he walked into the restaurant, he found Ariadne easily. "Hey, you," he said, offering her a hug if she wanted it.

	"Oh some cards, hmm!" Tuck laughed, delighted. "And how is he?" Tuck asked, leaving Patrroclus' name out of it in case Will wanted him to remain 'some guy I know' to Ariadne. "Doing better?" "I don't think it's something I've done before," Ariadne said, blowing on her tea and having a think. "Though," she added, with a shake of her highly amused head. "Dionysus and I were reunited after someone else stood me up and he walked into the restaurant instead - so, okay, it might be a bit of a pattern. But if I was intentionally dating two guys in one night," she added, with a sly smile at the both of them, "I'd rather have them both there at the same time." Was that too flirtacious for breakfast?

Watching the looks on their faces at they reminisced of wild nights past was delightful, honestly. These Merry Men! She was so pleased she'd met them. Plus these crepes were to die for. "I live part of the time in an apartment in Williamsburg with three mortals, part of the time with Dionysus, it depends on - oh, everything, mood, dates, life. I like... going where the wind takes me, lately, when it comes to living arrangements. And sleeping arrangements."

	Will shifted the coffee press closer to his cup, just daring anyone to get in on that caffeine action. "Being so spontaneous must be very freeing," he said, a little wistfully. "No, thank you," Ariadne gave her head a little shake at Tuck; she was still nursing her tea, not inhaling this breakfast nearly as fast as the boys. "It can be," Ariadne agreed with Will, noting the faint hint of longing in his voice. "It's a balance, like everything. If I was too spontaneous I couldn't keep my job, couldn't finish my Masters, couldn't hold onto the life I want, but you're right, Dionysus can be full on, and rising up to meet that— it feels really good."

Tuck heard the wistfulness in Will's voice too, and he didn't begrudge Will of that at all. He had a feeling watching Much out sowing his sexual oats had been difficult for Will, knowing that had been his life not that long ago. Tuck reached out to rub Will's back before smiling at Ariadne.

"Ah, that old balance thing! So very important. We could definitely learn to work more spontaneity into our lives at the moment, hmm?"

	Will flashed an OK sign with his hand because his mouth was full of crepe, and then grabbed his mug of coffee to complete the toast. "'Aaayy," he said around his food, and slurped some coffee to wash it down. It wasn't the morning he'd been expecting, but it was the morning he was getting, and he wasn't complaining.
