Georgi was quietly going over the match in his head and pointing out all the things he needs to improve on (he's pretty tough on himself, this is his standard practice after matches), but he was happy to see Ernie and had a smile for him. He asked him very seriously what he thought of the match.

Lennox, happy as he is, will share disparaging comments about Threapwood's plays with somebody before heading into the showers fairly quickly, feeling more like himself as he comes out for the debrief. He MAY even celebrate. MAY.

MG comes by, wide grin as he claps him on the shoulder. "Go celebrate, lad. 6 for 6." For once he doesn't think much of a debriefing is needed there. Lennox faced a very young seeker who hopefully learnt a thing or two from this match.

THERE IS MUCH REJOICING!!!

Maddock takes his well deserved victory lap. He wasn't counting but he KNEW he got a lot of points today, especially when he saw the overall score.

He will celebrate with ANYONE and EVERYONE!

If someone does tell him his final score of 270, he'll probably remark that was more than he's had all season! Followed by, SOMEONE GET THIS SCOT A DRINK!

Before he even has his feet on the ground, MG yells up at him as he's descending. "270 POINTS!" With a wide grin he points up at Maddock as if to say 'yes you'.

Once the snitch was caught she made her way down to the pitch doing her best to hide her uncertainty. Although she had been happy to see Maddock after her last two matches -- well not exactly the last one -- she didn't want to be seen as imposing. He deserves this moment. He played phenomenally.

So she will keep a few feet away, grin on her face, watching them celebrate. (A position that feels all too familiar, but there's no self pity here tonight.)

After spending part of the match in the medic tent (and ultimately having to leave to leave Florrie to do her job), and makng multiple trips back, Merc puts on his best face once they win. Smile on, he comes out to congratulate his winning team and field some of the press questions.

As they swarm, MG holds up one finger as he casually stands in front of a group of them, indicating he's only fielding a question each at most.

Reporter 1: King and Lefty have really made a splash in their pink today, do you have an opinion about it?

MG: Well it's a very flattering colour on them, the lads pull it off well don't you think?

Reporter 2: But what about the movement behind it, do you think it has a place on the pitch?

MG: I see nothing in the rules about bright pink, otherwise Quiberon would have a problem when it came to friendlies. Besides, I think those lads have more than earned the right to wear whatever they like.

Reporter 3: Can you talk about Peppard's injury?

MG: Anything I have to say I've put in that press release. But I'm sure George will appreciate the privacy and respect you'll all surely give him as he recovers.

Reporter 4: What about your new Bulgarian beater?

MG: Nothing but positive things. Hard worker, smart lad, and dedicated player. Still getting used to us scots but eh even some of the English never do.

Reporter 5: It's been a stunning start for the Magpies in a very important season, and you're first as the head coach, do you have any plans for the rest of the season?

MG: *laughs* My plan is to continue on the same trajectory. Up.

In the post-match excitement Jason makes a point to go over to Wendy Sloo. They shake hands as is customary, but he turns the handshake into a hug. He sure at least one or two photographers snapped a picture. While they can be fierce competitors on the pitch make no mistake that they are on the same side after the snitch is caught.

Once the post match excitement dies down a little, Jason makes his typical pressed rounds -- tiara in place. There had been a joke about getting him a neon pink feather boa but today was not the day to debut that.

He speaks very positively about how both teams played. He also comments on the colors noted in the stands today. When asked about the pink movement he responds as follows, "When I first entered the magical community I felt very isolated. Here is this 11 year old kid leaving behind everything he knows to go into another world. A world that was at war and filled with people who don't like me because of who my parents are, a world I didn't choose to be a part of. That in itself is difficult for anyone, let alone a child. I'm wearing pink because I want other muggle-borns to know they are not alone. We are here, we had stories, and they will be heard. And I'm hoping that we can change the narrative of the wizarding community to be more inclusive and create a better future together."

Then he laughs. "Plus you have to admit the black robe with the pink pop."

Of course his broom is also a topic of interest too. "It is an Abercrombie & King custom build. You can learn more about them and meet Jamie the mastermind behind this at storefront opening on the 16th of December in Diagon Alley."

Medic tent has no official comment at this time. Unofficially, for Aureliana's ears, everyone is going to be fine and Lex has been removed to Mungo's. While Florrie doesn't seem unduly concerned, she's definitely going to suggest that Aureliana will want to check on Lex because it was a pretty hard hit to the head and knocked her out cold.

After the match Chuck, very much in a non-press role, had wanted to check on Lex (well, and offer congratulations on the match) but found that she'd already been taken to St. Mungo's. Slightly disappointed she still made a mental note to go visit her later. As she turned to leave though she'd spotted Angus and made a beeline for him.

Chuck's eyes widened slightly as she got closer, and she couldn't help grinning. "Oh my goodness, you really did shave it off!"

Angus, who was similarly worried about Lex but was sticking close to Lennox with an arm slung over his brother's shoulder, glanced up and laughed at the look on Chuck's face. "Aye, that I did," he answered, and rubbed at his chin ruefully. "Some lasses I know have told me it was a mistake. Don't know if I should believe that or not." He reached out to clasp her hand. "What are you doin' here, darlin'? Looking for quotes for the match report?"

Florrie is in the med tent. Lex has been sent to Mungo's with her concussion and will not be there to visit. Go straight to Mungo's, do not pass go, do not collect 200 galleons.

She is going to be pretty likely to run people out if they don't belong in the med tent, no offense.

Jason will stop by the med tent once the match is over. He's not injured, but he figures after the match they had, it would be good to show up and prove he is in one piece.

Plus he needs some food/electrolytes, and he can always count on Florrie to have appropriate snacks available.

Micah bolts here after the game is over for Florrie to look at his hand and also to go see Lex, wherever she is. He doesn't stay and chit chat.

Merc specifically finds his young chaser to grin and pat him on the back. "Over 100 shots, lad! That's more than the whole season so far combined. And you looked much better out there than our last long match. Hard work paying off!"
