Angus, who was similarly worried about Lex but was sticking close to Lennox with an arm slung over his brother's shoulder, glanced up and laughed at the look on Chuck's face. "Aye, that I did," he answered, and rubbed at his chin ruefully. "Some lasses I know have told me it was a mistake. Don't know if I should believe that or not." He reached out to clasp her hand. "What are you doin' here, darlin'? Looking for quotes for the match report?"

"They probably got used to seeing you with a beard. I think you look perfectly fine, beard or no beard - just different is all," she said with a smile, as she clasped Angus' hand. Chuck shook her head at the question. "I wanted to check on Lex but should've figured they'd take her to St. Mungo's already. So I'm purely here in a strictly non-press friend-like capacity." Also she was pretty sure she technically wasn't even supposed to be in Montrose's rooms, and was even more sure that if she started sourcing quotes without permission that Aureliana Abercrombie wouldn't be too pleased with her.

"Congrats by the way. Montrose played one heck of a match, even with the injuries and all," she said with a slight grin, glancing at Lennox briefly.

"And some would say the mistake was growing the beard in the first place," Lennox quips, catching sight of the pretty guest before turning his head away.

Florrie was sending LOOKS over there that suggested as soon as Lennox was treated, he needed to move, well, maybe not Angus but at least the non-team person.

Angus grinned and ruffled Lennox's hair, as annoyingly as he knew how (and, having had thirty-two years of practice at it, he definitely knew how to annoy his twin). "No razors in Azkaban, mate," he answered breezily. "Anyway, Chuck thinks I'm braw and handsome both ways. Reckon that's what she means, anyway."

He gave Lennox a squeeze around the shoulders, glancing between the two of them. "Have you been properly introduced to our star Seeker, my brother Lennox, Chuck? He's the better twin in most regards, aside from hair and height, but we don't let that give him a big head. Len, Charlotte Brand. She's American, but she's also Gwendolyn Morgan's granddaughter, so she's as Quidditch as they come. Does the match reports for Seeker Weekly."

Quick as ever with his hands, Lennox ducks out of the way and swats Angus annoyedly. You just had to, didn't you Angus?

He freezes a little at the next remark, though, and it throws him off his game, so to speak. Survivors guilt - feels like his stomach fell through the floor.

"Oh, hi, right," he replies, his mind not fully on the gorgeous woman in front of them.

Chuck couldn't help but smile at the way the brothers acted it reminded her of her she and her sister got on, and the way some of her cousins acted with each other. She paused a little a the mention of Azkaban, but nodded in response. "Exactly it."

She shook her head. Even though she was friends with a few of the Magpies she'd never actually met Lennox before - oddly enough. Chuck laughed at the description Angus gave his brother. "He's definitely the better Seeker of the day," she agreed. Having noticed their medic looking over their way Chuck knew she ought to probably move on sometime soon before she overstayed her welcome. Chuck shoots Angus an amused look. "I notice you focused on my grandmum and conveniently 'forgot' my opa played as well."

Chuck gives Lennox a friendly smile and holds her hand out. "Hi, nice to finally meet you."

And conversely, of course, it both was and wasn't strange, from Lennox's point of view, that this meeting had never happened. Yes, strange for the same reasons going on in Chuck's mind, but not strange in the sense that he generally avoided the media as much as possible.

"Not that that's hard," Lennox interjected, before firmly shutting his mouth, realising how bitchy that could potentially sound.

Lennox blinked owlishly, still somehow surprised that this one was actually polite. "Um, hi. Yes, of course, likewise," he murmured, shaking her hand briefly.

Chuck couldn't stop the giggle that came forth at his comment about Threepwood. "No, it's probably not," she managed to say once she'd gotten control of her giggling. "Oh, and don't worry nothing I've heard here will end up in the Weekly."

"I think maybe I should let you two be before your medic decides to have me kicked out," she said. After all it wouldn't do to get on the bad side of any part of the time. "Angus, it was nice seeing you as always, and Lennox, like I said it was nice to finally meet you and congratulations on the win. Hopefully I'll see you both next bloc, if not sooner."

Lennox looked mildly alarmed. He wasn't used to anyone laughing at his quips, let alone attractive women at his Seeker ramblings.

He sort of nodded slightly, her mention of Angus sending him back into his shell, well used to being the twin who got the least attention.
