All I want for Christmas is a match in which both teams score a century before you figure in the Snitch. The sum of both team's goals, that is.

Now that the dust from the hearings has died down a little, what are our collective thoughts on the hearings, and who spoke and didn't, apart from the obvious?

Also, just for your information, in case you think the referendum plays into it, I've seen the numbers for the poll that will go out this week, probably Wednesday. 38 percent for, 31 percent against, 31 percent undecided. I think a bunch of those so-called undecided voters just don't want to admit how they're voting.

I'm still having trouble with that bitch Skeeter, I'm worried about how I'm going to show I'm a producer of good stories over the break, and I'm working on a big one that may not actually go anywhere. Plus I'm putting out fires for Portree all the time over the stupid Cameron situation.

I understand nepotism and I don't exactly disapprove of it, but it's like MacFusty wasn't thinking at all about anything but her sister the second MacDonald was out. Now it looks like we have a grudge against Muggleborns when the truth is that I don't think a single one of us thought it was handled well. Or even necessarily a great idea, with all due respect to Lorna MacFarlane.

Other than that, everything's fine.
