If there's one subject I can easily say I'm more tired of than goblins it's Y2K paranoia that is currently gripping the muggle world. Except I don't think it's paranoia because I really don't want to be in London if the tube stops running because the computers are down or something.

Thank Helga I can apparate.

Except that's not going to help me with my growing addiction to Coronation Street if the tellys are affected too.

It's a muggle television show. Think the Wireless, but with moving pictures. It's a fairly dramatic and over the top show.

I don't know much of the Australian television as I spent more time in New Zealand. But I'm guessing more or less the same.
