Just wanted to let you all know that after talking to some of my colleagues, I'm going to be leaving off scrimmaging with Montrose. It was pointed out to me that this could give an appearance of favouritism, and I don't want to get the team in any trouble. I'll still be around to practise with you privately, Lex and Micah, but you'll have to find another beater for team scrimmages. Sorry.

	Let me deal with MG McGonagall for awhile. If she's worried about needing more practice that is an issue to take up with management. But that's another argument for another day. As long as you are happy and nobody is giving you a hard time for it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'll let you handle MG. I'm not really happy about this but I think it's best for all of us.

Some of what Lex needs is just face and broom time with whoever she's going to be flying with. It's not that she's not getting sufficient practice; more like it's easier to have the trust and good reflexes you need when you've flown a lot with your partner. And she's going to have a new one with George being out for the season, when she'd barely got used to Kal. It's hard to have a new beater come in halfway through the season.

It'll be good for the team to have someone else in scrimmage. Whoever it is won't be as used to working with Fraser as I am, but it'll be an unknown quantity and that's useful too. It'll be all right if they can get someone in before Christmas so she can get some air time in with the new Beater during the long break.

	Professional quidditchers can be very anxious and for all that we both love Lex, we both know she fits the stereotype. I think she'll be fine and I've told her so. She just feels insecure right now and I'm trying to help her feel better the best I can. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
