Merc didn't expect it at all, but just laughs more because he's in a stellar mood, even if now he's absolutely soaked. Jason gets an arm around his shoulders and an absolutely thrilled coach (who hasn't had a drop to drink except for what accidentally got into his mouth there) looking giddy happy. "Wonderful job, Jason! They came to shut you down and they didn't manage. Scored more than any chaser on the Portree side!"
