Kal doesn't quite know what to do with herself. It's a strange mix of elation that they won and the sudden comedown from all that excitement and adrenaline. She probably stands around watching people and grinning stupidly.

Big hugs from Lex. "You did awesome. And that ref was bogus. That should have just been a warning. You were brilliant out there."

Tomorrow/Monday they can debrief play by play. Right now, live up the joy

Big hugs back from Kal. "We were brilliant out there. That felt amazing." She decides not to mention the foul right now, because that's grumpy-making and this is a celebration.

She'll get a suprise pat on the back and turn around to see a really grinny (and now likely champagne soaked) coach. "Ignore that call at the end, great job! You stepped up and faced one of the greatest Scottish beaters in recent history. How's it feel?"

Even the surprise at this attention from Merc doesn't dim her smile. "It feels..." She gestures with her hands, trying to find some word that truly describes it. The only thing she's got is "amazing," which is what she told Lex, but even that doesn't quite capture it. Finally she says, "Better even than I expected."

This is exactly how Roger's feeling too, expect a shoulder bump from him as he stands beside her to take a breath.

At the shoulder bump, she turns her grin over on him but she can't really talk for a minute. Then, suddenly, she lets out a little squeal and gives him a big, quick hug.

Her glee snaps him out of his daze and he laughs, hugging back and lifting her off her feet momentarily. "We did it!"

This makes Kal laugh and grin even wider—if that's at all possible. "We did! Thank god for Lennox. He didn't even give me time to worry about Lex. Well, much."
