Who: Maddie Savage, C.L.A.M.S. kids, Participants, and Random Guests (i.e., anyone who wants to be there, can be!)
What: Quidditch Exhibition for Kids in Need
When: 7 April 2000
Where: Rannoch Moor
Warnings: There better not be! This is a kid-friendly event!

C.L.A.M.S. Presents: Quidditch Exhibition for Future Players

Maddie arrived early to set up and make sure that all of the (seemingly hundreds) of moving pieces fall together the way they should. There had been more interest than they'd originally thought, no doubt because of the names that had gotten attached to the event, so her number of kids had swelled to almost double what they'd originally planned. Since the volunteer interest and funding for this event in particular had also been more than expected, things had come together rather neatly.

Almost too neatly. Maybe it was her innate cynicism, but she kept expecting something to go wrong.

The kids were already have a great time, though, even before the event started. They were all full of nervous energy, all dancing around in their matching shirts and waving the gift bags that Alex had put together for them. Occasionally, a well-informed kid would see a face they recognised and start shouting to the others, pointing out one of the volunteer players and calling out their names—which never ceased making Maddie laugh.

When finally their hosts appeared before them, the roar of cheering and clapping was almost deafening, and when the players took to the air, it felt strange for Maddie to not be among them. But somehow, also not strange at all. She grinned at the kids sitting next to her and settled in for the show, adding explanations as she heard questions around her.

[OOC Note: Feel free to NPC random kids as needed, but also interact with the other adults.]

Chillaxing is definitely on the cards... though Dunbar's happy to chat with anyone if they want to.

Maddie makes sure to swing by and thank him again for his participation, and she'll comment on how good he is with the kids. She's being genuine, but also teasing a bit, too.

He was happy to help, and to get a break from his usual line of work. Ha. Well, it helps having far younger twin sisters and probably more than a few cousins. XD

Plenty of blokes she knows who have big families still don't know how to talk to kids, so it's still admirable and pretty adorable. She mentions a couple of kids in particular she wants to introduce him to after the break. They're kids who love Quidditch but aren't all that coordinated, and she wants to teach them about the non-playing jobs in Quidditch.

Well, he tries... even if sometimes it's not always a success. Dunbar nods, and says he's happy to talk to them and answer any questions they have.
