Tradition is tradition. Sorry Lennox. If it was a better business play, Lennox might have found an even better present.

At some point in the pre-match noise, Jason comes over to look at Lennox and his broom. "Broom's only as good as the flyer. You know that. And it's a solid model." Even if not what he was used to. Jason wouldn't tease him about brooms. Jason only flew on customs or brooms he or Jamie personally modified. "Offer still stands to give mine a go."

"That's what I always said about the last one," Lennox mumbled, the and look where that ended up going unspoken.

Lennox shook his head, politely declining the offer. "It's a bit too close to the match for that, but thanks." And he'd need to give it up anyway, when Jason was ready to train again, so he'd rather get used to one broom until the end of the season then fly several different ones and look desperate. At least he could give Jason's a test flight in the offseason when there was no pressure.
