Ellie is eager to see how this version of Portree measures up to Montrose and benchmark how far they have come since the Fall Classic. The strategy for today is to go hard, have fun. Her starting line is as Scottish and quidditch families as she can get. That would been honestly and openly discussed with the players -- this is a Family Affair and Scottish Tradition she wants to come out on that note.

There are no long speeches today, but before everyone heads out onto the pitch, you bet she is inviting everyone jam to Chumbawamba's Tubthumping.

Bart, for once, has more to say than Ellie. He's been trying to let her lead but the Neep is his baby, and this is his moment to speak up. He reiterates his points from the note yesterday: aggression, hard against the Keeper, and keep the Seeker off balance where you can. He comes round and gives everyone a firm clasp and some personal encouragement.

And he'll even try to sing along to Tubthumping, though he doesn't know any of it except the chorus, which he sings with enthusiasm.

Ellie has no issue with Barts guidance/lead on this one. She had asked for his help with the Golden Neep because he has the experience on this one. And Neep is different than regular league matches. More importantly, Ellie is becoming more and more aware of her own limitations and tendencies when there are too many things on her plate. Bart is here to help with that and she hopes at this point they mesh well together in terms of coaching style.

(Ellie totally grins real big when Bart joins in on the singing.)

	Lorna is braided up, and has her war paint. This is a Scottish battle today, and they are going to war for the Neep. Lorna goes over Beater plans with Keke and Amir, since all three are on board today. And of course jamming to Tubthumping, which is just even better that Bart is singing it too. "Pride or die, yeah?" Ellie's purple hair is in braids today, not unlike Lorna's but with her own flair. It's a look she hasn't worn in a long time over a really stupid fight they had many, many years ago. It's a more quiet symbol that they are a team. No matter what happens out there, she's not going to let it ruin everything like the Fall Classic did. Plus she's optimistic that the outcome is going to be different too.

	Amir is ready to go. He knows he's starting and he knows at some point they're going to sub Keke in so he's more eager anticipation than nervous today because if he totally sucks he'll get pulled from the game. Maddie was a bit surprised when told she was starting the Neep, especially since she started in the last match, but definitely not displeased. If she does decide to retire after this season, she wants this opportunity to prove that she's going out on a high note and not because she simply couldn't cut it anymore.

She's never been big on the pre-match Muggle music, but she'll sing along with begrudging amusement.

Meaghan showed up with purple hair and an air of desperately furious defiance.

She hates playing at the Lamb and while she's glad to be here, she isn't glad to be here. She's sure that the Lamb's unlucky for her. This isn't where she'd want to play again but she doesn't have a choice does she?

It's okay. She's here and she's getting to play. She's here and she's playing.

But her bones are jittery and she can't stay still because Godric, it's been more than a month. She can fucken do this but it's been so long and she's dying to get into the air.

She sings along to Tubthumbing and she's trying so hard to feel it too.
