After making his rounds to his team (and Kenmare too -- let's be real hugs or handshakes for everyone. Plus teasing for Keel because really!?), he spots Aidan. Jason makes his way through the crowd, he still have two dogs in tow so he has quite the posse.

"My good sir, I am not worthy." Jason gets down on one knee and holds up his princess tiara above him in offering. He fully expects to get it back, but for right now someone needs to go wear it and represent for the media. (Especially when the original offer to Lex was declined. And technically it is a Ravenclaw thing.)

(Aidan is very 'REALLY?!' about Keel too!)

For a minute as he looks around, Aidan is a bit quieter since his run-in with Lennox was a tad disappointing but that melancholic mood is instantly lifted when he sees Jason coming over. Trust King to come be silly and lift any mood.

"It's I that am not worthy," Aidan laughs and gives a little bow so Jason can rise and crown him. "I think it goes well with my other accessories," he chuckles and uses a pink glove to point to his pink goggles.

Now crowned with the coveted princess tiara, Aidan puts on a solemn face and voice for a moment. "I will do my utmost to do the tiara and you justice. May the media have mercy on my soul."

Jason crowns Aidan in triumph. But Wait! There is more!! From his bigger-on-the-inside pocket he pulls forth the neon pink boa. There is a look we are going for here. The media has expectations.

"It is not your soul should be worried about." Jason isn't sure what that means, but he is laughing. So best not to overthink it. Plus hugs. Because friends hug. "I am very sad to have missed out on the action."

That has Aidan bursting into laughter but happily letting the neon pink boa be draped over his shoulders.

"I was sad not to have you up there, but your teammates definitely gave us a very hard time in your absence. Maybe come playoffs we'll have a chance. Until then..." He throws one end of the boa over his shoulder and puts his hands on his hips. "How do I look?"

"Ready to go into battle, my liege." He grins. "If you don't mind a tag along, I'm keen to join you for a few rounds with the press. My shoulder might be on the mend, but I am here to defend your honor and distract from whatever Keel was doing out there."

"Don't want you to get in trouble with your team, but I'll bring you around to help field UpLift questions that come up. Maybe having you there will mean more of those and less asking about David being too much all match."

"I wouldn't worry about that." Jason has never made any secret about his friendships across teams. He is fierce and competitive off the pitch, but he has never been big on the all-encompassing rivalries.

"But if you insist, I will not be your humble servant, but rather your equal, and friend. Let's see if we can finally get the Prophet sports section to publish something a bit more...pink."
