Hello, Magpies! No doubt, you have seen a new face around the offices, so I thought I'd send out a memo to briefly introduce myself. My name is Alex Winters, and I'll be taking over the Public Relations position from Aureliana effective immediately. She's agreed to stay on for a brief time as we transition her work to me, and I'm very excited to get started here! I'm sure all of you have appreciated the hard work she put in during the interim. A little about me: I was born in Scotland, but moved to America when I was really little, and grew up in Seattle, WA. I went to Ilvermorny- Go, Horned Serpents!- and then interned for a marketing firm in Manhattan before being hired on full time. This was my primary background- international corporate accounts- for nearly ten years, when I felt it was time for a change. But I'm not here to bore you with the details! I'd really like to get to know everyone here, but I know that everyone is busy with three upcoming matches this month, so I'm asking if you could please find the time to either schedule a time or just stop by my office for a brief 5-10 minute chat so I can get to know the team a little better. If you find you don't have time, or small talk just really isn't your thing, I've attached a brief form that includes some talking points you can also use if you wish. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you, and can't wait to see the Unbeatable Magpies in action again!

	He hasn't moved much around since taking over the office, but he's been thinking about re-doing the layout some to allow for more space. Alex indicates the small seating area, and moves around his desk to take the opposite lounge chair. "That's great! Do you mind telling me a bit about yourself, and what brought you to the Magpies?" "Well. My full name is Kenna Calliope Tulip McLeod," Kenna says as she sits down. "I'm a Leo and a Ravenclaw. Oh! I was also a prefect in school. In my free time, I like hanging out with my boyfriend, reading, and playing with makeup. Also cooking! I also enjoy historical tours of Muggle castles. This summer I'm going to Madagascar! And I cam to Montrose because it's the only team my family has ever played for! Well. The majority of them."

Alex is charmed, and makes a few notes as Kenna speaks. "Nothing wrong with going the legacy route," he says with a smile, "as long as you're happy with it as well. Do you get to do a lot of traveling outside of the league season?"

He pauses, but believes in full disclosure where possible. "I hope you'll forgive me- and I realize this is going to come off as incredibly intrusive- but your boyfriend plays for Pride of Portree, doesn't he? To the best of your knowledge, do you think this has the potential to result in a conflict of interest or to impact your ability to play at all? I promise, I'm only asking from a press-approach. From a personal standpoint, I feel like your romantic life is no ones business but your own, but- unfortunately- being a professional Quidditch player means your life is usually under a particularly unforgiving magnifying glass."

	"Yes, I am dating David Urquhart. There is absolutely no conflict of interest as far as we're concerned as we're both professionals and I think that's all that needs to be said on the subject." A smirk pulls at the edge of his mouth; he can't really help it. She strikes him in that moment as someone who could and would summarily shut down the press with ruthless efficiency if the need arose. If everyone played their cards right, it wouldn't come to that, which suited him just fine. "It's really beautiful in the summer, so you shouldn't be disappointed," he says with a smile. "Is there anything you can think of that you might need from my office? Any charities or events you'd like to be involved in?"
