At the normal Monday morning strategy meeting, Cav, with Ellie and Bart alongside him, announces that Joy will not be returning to the team from Australia. He'll say that the team is committed to finding a replacement but that in the meantime, this is a chance for the reserve squad and the team to come together. If anyone has any questions, his office door is, of course open.

He'll then turn it over to Ellie for the rest of the meeting and then it will be followed by training as scheduled.

So this probably explains a lot about Owen's mood this weekend. It is disappointing news. So much for not worrying about the Chasers. Lorna immediately looks between Meaghan, Alasdair and Scrimmy who she is the most concerned about in seeing how they are react. Ellie obviously already knew, and she seems calm for the moment. Lorna doesn't look happy, and she's disappointed that they are down a starting player again.

	Alasdair notices Scrimmy isn’t there pretty quickly, and murmurs to Lorna that he’ll be back at training once he’s found her. He doesn’t want his wee Chaser buddy on her own right now :( (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Lorna understands. She would have suggested it anyway. She'd have gone to see Scrimmy herself, but Alasdair is the better choice as her lead Chaser. (Reply to this) (Parent)
