Maddock is so nervous. He's not letting it show completely because he's being his usual excited but he probably keeps to himself more than usual, going over plays and things planned in practice.... yes this is the Cannons, but he's also acting Captain today and with his luck he'd screw it all up. He's gotten more than 150 the last two times he played but he also didn't have added responsibility.

Maddock laughs at this. Not even pointing out that he was older than Jason. "Had to happen sometime!"

There were a lot of things that Maddock could say to that but he wouldn't feel confident going out on the pitch if he did. Married was in round 2 (even if it never officially ended), The dog was new and Quidditch was also round 2. "Just never had the opportunity before I guess. But I'm going to give it my best."
