Dear Georgi,

This one is from the Luba people in Zaire. And this one is from Sri Lanka. And this one the tag has come off, but I think it's Ecuador or Columbia or something.

The next time you come by, I'll show you the whole wall. I've always thought that it was pretty creepy looking, but she says that's the point. Needless to say (although I keep writing so maybe not needless), a kuker mask would be well at home.

Those are very interesting pictures, thank you. Do all those places have celebrations like Bulgarian kukeri? I would like to see them one time. And I will owl my uncle Tsvetan for your mother. He will be happy to send one for her.

Nadezhda and Alexei will come on 4 January and stay four days. I hope you will meet them. I ~~I'd like~~ I have asked my team to come to my new house on 7 January for a Bulgarian dinner. If you're not busy, maybe you will come, too.
