SUMMARY: Mid-Season (Christmas) Party hosted by the Montrose Magpies at Macmillan Park, cocktail dresses and blazers suggested.

The Macmillan Family welcomes you to to Macmillan Park for the Mid-Season Yule party for all of Scottish Quidditch (and then some).

The Manor House is decorated for the season, with each room on the first floor having a display of its own. The public areas of the garden are also decorated and kept at a comfortable temperature (as long as you are wearing a cloak) with plenty of warming charms. Christmas crackers are available on all of the tables for all of your paper crown and terrible joke needs.

Finger foods and drinks (alcoholic and non) are plentiful. Eggnog can be made either way and if you want a hot chocolate with a splash of whisky, nobody is going to bat an eye. Entertainment is provided by the Tomnahurich Quartet and the Calanais Singers throughout the night in the main hall. A selection of seasonal songs in the muggle and wizarding traditions were planned, but both groups will take requests. They will be performing both together and separately.

For any children who joined their parents in the festivities, they have their own party going on upstairs in the rarely-used nursery (think very large and extensive playroom with bedrooms nearby and a schooling area). There are kid friendly foods, including sandwiches, personal pizzas in seasonal shapes, a Hot Chocolate Bar, and cherry flavored fizzy drinks. There are, of course, plenty of sweets to be had as well.

	He does not need to introduce himself to Ernie, obviously. But Ernie definitely waits until Georgi is sort of in a corner and possibly after an extra application of Sleek-Eaze to come and say hello. He spends the whole time very close - not just because he likes him, but also because he is having a hell of a time 'hearing' people. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Georgi is always happy to see Ernie, but with several brandies in him he's very very glad to see Ernie! The closeness doesn't feel weird to him, and he touches Ernie's arm a lot while they talk. 	Meanwhile Georgi's English has got much better but also much funnier since he's been drinking, so it's a shame that Ernie misses most of his hilarious Christmas-themed jokes and his ruminations on those charms. But hey, at least he's laughing anyway, which is very gratifying! He's smiling more at Ernie than he has at anyone else all night. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He is trying so hard not to be so obvious but lol he smells good so shrug But every time people gather, Ernie tries to pull him away, having less and less qualms about monopolizing him. Georgi is a guy who knows his duty, and remembering his and Mel's plan to find him a potential bride here in order to stop his marriage to Nadezhda does a better job of sobering him up than ice water to the face. He's not happy about it, but he tells Ernie he should go and he'll find him again later and they can talk more, so don't leave, please? Hopeful puppy eyes all over the place.
