SUMMARY: Mid-Season (Christmas) Party hosted by the Montrose Magpies at Macmillan Park, cocktail dresses and blazers suggested.

The Macmillan Family welcomes you to to Macmillan Park for the Mid-Season Yule party for all of Scottish Quidditch (and then some).

The Manor House is decorated for the season, with each room on the first floor having a display of its own. The public areas of the garden are also decorated and kept at a comfortable temperature (as long as you are wearing a cloak) with plenty of warming charms. Christmas crackers are available on all of the tables for all of your paper crown and terrible joke needs.

Finger foods and drinks (alcoholic and non) are plentiful. Eggnog can be made either way and if you want a hot chocolate with a splash of whisky, nobody is going to bat an eye. Entertainment is provided by the Tomnahurich Quartet and the Calanais Singers throughout the night in the main hall. A selection of seasonal songs in the muggle and wizarding traditions were planned, but both groups will take requests. They will be performing both together and separately.

For any children who joined their parents in the festivities, they have their own party going on upstairs in the rarely-used nursery (think very large and extensive playroom with bedrooms nearby and a schooling area). There are kid friendly foods, including sandwiches, personal pizzas in seasonal shapes, a Hot Chocolate Bar, and cherry flavored fizzy drinks. There are, of course, plenty of sweets to be had as well.

Georgi doesn't mind dancing with any of the ladies. He's a consummate big brother type and tries to notice if any of the women look like they're waiting to be asked, and will go and ask them despite his shyness. He's of the old-style pureblood school of dancing and doesn't know anything more recent than the waltz. He can dance a lovely minuet and an energetic mazurka, though.

	He would love to dance, and guides her around very competently and compliments her dress and her grace. It's fairly comfortable, because he's gotten used to her too. 	He's excellent at the waltz! He can do the spins and the dips and the whole nine yards when needed, but he's very conscious that her head might still be in poor shape and is extremely careful with her. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Georgi is already blushing from the kiss, but he goes swiftly pale and almost stops breathing at that last bit because 1) how did she know and 2) why did she say it where people might hear. 	An eyebrow arches slightly in surprise, but she doesn't say anything else about it, simply squeezing his hand and giving him a reassuring smile. Later in the evening after more dancing, Merc disappears to the garden for some fresh air and a break, assuring Gabi he'll be back soon. He's gone longer than usual and when he comes back his smile looks a tad forced even to those that don't know him well. To Gabi it'd be clear something's very wrong, and he heads straight for her to whisper in her ear. "Elsie just hit Florrie in the gardens. She's okay, I apparated her home. But we should leave to help her." He has a lot of feelings about this but leaves it for another time, just reaching down to squeeze Gabi's hand.
