Okay. Hypothetically, you're walking down the street - you're listening to your IPod, you're thinking about the tuna salad you had for lunch, you're not paying attention. The most beautiful girl you've ever seen walks in front of you and you bump into each other. Apologies are made and she's gone before you can even catch her name.

You know though that this girl, this woman is someone special. But she's already out of your sight.

What do you do? (Note: your answer will have the endless thanks of one Fabian Greene. Make it good)

On another unrelated note, where's the coolest place in town to get wasted?

As long as we're not out until four in the morning. Unlike you, I do have a job, and I'd rather like to keep it.

I deserve a medal.

Also: you have ten seconds to explain Jess Tailor.

We'll call mommy later and have her pin the Super Special Brother Award on your cute widdle jacket, how about that?

[...] God Almighty. You're talking to her?

I want a gold star to bring to first grade too.

She talked to me first. Why did you sleep with an underage hooker? Seriously. You could have admitted that you were that desperate.

Unfortunately, I've received all the gold stars, so you'll have to settle for silver, little bro.

Jesus Christ. She's not a hooker, as far as I know, and I didn't sleep with her. She's a child, and we both know my tastes don't account for anyone under the age of 25 with a cup size smaller than a C.

I’ll take platinum.

Really?: [attached is perfectly formatted contents of his and Jess’ thread. Jake has too much time on his hands.]

[...] God Almighty.

We met at a masquerade ball where some bizarre kind of magic was in effect - the same kind that lets me know when people are lying and lets you mellow people out. People were unidentifiable. I had no idea who she was, and agreed to meet her for Chinese. Then I found out she was insanely young, and she had a breakdown in the restaurant, possibly because of her powers. Mitigating factors made me [...] unpleasant and irascible after I excused myself and she contacted me later. Things ended with me bodily removing her from my apartment after she brought me a crate of drugs someone left in the lobby. Having seen someone come off those drugs, I didn't want her to deal with them, and turned them into the police myself.

Not long after that, I received a note asking me not to contact her in the future, so I haven't. It's been petty and childish, and I haven't bothered with it, or her, since. I cut my loses, you know me.

…Man, I’d love to know if you’re lying or not right now, because that’s a much better excuse then an underage hooker.

Not lying. You can confirm the masquerade events with anyone here. Use it in your next book. It would be a good plot hook.

That I don't have a hooker? You should know better than that. I don't need to pay for sex.
