When I went into the showers, I put three of my towels on the warming rack next to the shower stall.

When I came out of the shower fifteen minutes later, there were zero towels on the warming rack.

Somebody fess up.

3. Gloves.

And y es, I think it'd be good for you to go out to dinner and practice the art of casual conversation and mild flirtation with some very pretty boy or girl who has no expectations beyond that. Gotta get your feet wet at some point, and you seem like you're better at listening to sense than Steve.
