As we turn over a new month and move into shorter days and cooler weather, I am forcibly reminded of the differences between this world and the one I come from. Asgard is forever in my heart, and settled in the back of my thoughts, as I know is the case with many of my Asgardian brothers and sisters here on Midgard.

Though we will never forget our home, we also are embracing living here on Midgard. I, for one, am excited to see what Fall brings us. (Or is it Autumn? Are they the same? Am I missing some nuance in the language?)

	It is one of the nine realms. Asgard, Álfheimr/Ljósálfheimr, Niðavellir/Svartálfaheimr, Midgard, Jötunheimr/Útgarðr, Vanaheim, Niflheim, Muspelheim, and Hel. We are on Midgard. I come from Asgard. A candy apple is an apple dipped in a mixture of sugar, corn syrup, cinnamon and usually red food color, but you could use any color you wanted. Once the coating sets its quite hard so you get a nice crunch when you bite it. Caramel apples the coating is usually a lot softer. Dustin said in the UK they have toffee apples which taste like caramel but are crunchy like candy apples, I’d like to try those someday.
