Don't get me wrong, I hate it. The not moving part is really hard. But I also know the consequences are worse if you don't. And ACME had a really strict policy. Don't get me wrong, R&R's great. But forced R&R in the middle of a big case? Yeah, not so much.

That explains her movements. I could tell she was pulling her punches. Just... wow. We may need to start defensive training drills.

	My brother. He's a couple years younger than me. Kinda a computer genius and never lets me forget it. We were both trained by ACME and eventually partnered up together. Yeah... I do. We've been at this a long time and other than our guardian, we've been the only family the other's had for a while. Been training at this since I was 12.

Honestly, the name is really stupid. Mostly intentionally since we're good guy spies, investigators and agents. So the acronym just works better.

I mean... you're the one that Tony was talking about having that knife fight with Barnes, right?

	I get that. I joined the circus young too. Me and my brother Barney. We kinda relied on each other until he decided to be a shithead who wanted money more than family. I mean, fair's fair. I gave you part of mine. And the joining the circus is something that all kids want to do. Some people aren't meant for this. They put their own wants ahead of what others need. I think it's "Agency to Classify and Monitor Evildoers" Like I said, reallllllly dumb. Like dumb enough that people wouldn't necessarily take it seriously if they heard it in conversation outright.

The reality is wildly different, I can assure you. And I would have done just that, with the tracking and the ass kicking, if big bro hadn't left me for dead. Good times. I love reminiscing.

Can't blame you/them for ACME, then. At least the S.H.I.E.L.D. acronym holds up. It's just a freakin' mouthful.

I wasn't exactly concussed when I made that decision. Just bored. Pretty much same diff, though.
