I mean, it is. But usually, people don't dive right into it by asking someone at random if they want to do it.

Yeah, usually there's a ritual. You have dinner, go to a movie, go dancing, all that.

It's like a whole thing.

Not that dating's easy around here if you're not trying.

That's usually a safe bet.

And you don't have to go to sex right after. I mean, if you and whoever agree that's great. Just saying, it's not a requirement.

Trying sex was going to be different from trying dating. I just thought dating would be harder, since you have to like each other as people instead of just how they look.
