Entry tags:complete, day 31, george lass, lucas scott

Who: Lucas Scott and Open
When: Day 31
What: Lucas goes for a swim.
Rating: Probably PG just to be safe.
Status: Complete.

Lucas had his hands in his pockets as he walked around the grounds of this strange new place he had ended up. He walked to the lake and looked at the water lapping. He decided it would be nice to go for a swim.

He walked back to his room and got a pair of swimming trunks. He changed into them and grabbed a towel. He walked to the swimming pool and put the towel down near the pool. He dived into the water and did a lap of the pool.

He noticed her blush and blushed himself a little. She had obviously noticed his eyes shifting from her face.

He smiled back at her.

"Well I guess the good thing about this place is that it's relaxing," he said.

George nodded, looking at nothing in particular. "Yeah. And except from the activities, you can do pretty much whatever the hell you want, too." Or at least that's what she'd been lead to believe. She splashed her toes on the water slowly.

"There are group activities?" he asked curiously.

"It's nice to be able to do whatever the hell you want," he said smiling softly at her.

"Yeah, but I haven't been tagged yet. I suppose it'll come soon enough." George said, shrugging. "Stuff like kayak and snow fights and whatever the hell else." She rolled her eyes.

"It's my life's ambition." George said, grinning, replying to Lucas' comment about doing whatever the hell she wanted. It really was, now she thought about it.

"I take it your not a big fan," he said with a soft laugh when she rolled her eyes.

"It's a good ambition," he said, grinning back at her. "It sounds liberating."

"It's not about the people, lord knows it's boring not to know anyone, it's more about what they have us do. You have no choice." She said, shrugging with annoyance.

"I would hardly know, but I bet it is liberating, too." She said, smiling again. "Do you ever do whatever the hell you want?" George didn't mean for it to sound as suggestive as she thought it probably had sounded, but she hoped he hadn't noticed...much.

"That sucks. Maybe we should set up our own group activity?" he suggested.

He grinned a little at her question. It did sound a little suggestive to him but he tried not to think on it too much.

"Sometimes. I'd like to think that occasionally I do whatever the hell I want."

George tilted her head to the left a little. "What do you suggest?" She asked with a finer voice than usual. She couldn't help the thoughts running through her mind at that moment, either. Good thing he didn't seem like a mind reader. Hopefully.

"Hmm, I'm not sure really. What kinda things do you like to do?" he asked.

"Ehh... I don't know. Stuff..." She said. George actually didn't have anything the loved to do, nothing that came to her mind immediately after being asked. "What about you?"

"Well I love to play basketball if you'd be interested in that?" he asked.

George sniggered slightly. She was failing all over, because sports were never really her thing. Especially not sports in which physical contact was forbidden.

"I...Uh...I'm not very good." She said, deflated. "Actually last time I tried I was downright terrible." She finished, sort of laughing.

"Well I'm a basketball coach so I could teach you how to play if you like?" he asked. "If you're not interested it's cool. We could think of something else to do," he said with a soft smile.

George paused for a moment, and thought back to the recent conversations she'd had. It seemed everything under the sun was pushing her to reinvent herself, do something new, learn something else. She had never been big on skills or hobbies, but if everyone else had so much fun, maybe she should've been.

George nodded, grinning. "Alright, Lucas. I'm in."

"Great," he said grinning widely at her. He was very passionate about the game he'd once played and now coached.

George grinned cheerfully. There was a moment of silence before anything interesting to ask occurred to George. Then, it finally did. "I was wondering, what were you doing when you got pulled?"

George thought back to the day she arrived. "Yeah. A chick named Tonks. Weird chick, but nice enough I guess... Who greeted you?"

"A girl named Blair. She was nice," he said smiling warmly. "She showed me around this place. Showed me my room which was handy."

George smiled. "That's nice. I did that for the guy I greeted, too." She leaned back again, sighing. The jacuzzi had relaxed her to levels she didn't remember experiencing before.

George smiled. "Really?" She was glad he thought so, anyway, because she liked him too. He didn't seem dramatically antagonized by the planet like many others, and for the first time in a while it was like she was just George talking to just a normal guy. "You do, too."
