Who: Layla Williams, Lucas Scott and OTA
When: Day 31
What: Layla is outside in a spring like coat, black yoga pants, sneakers and is playing with a football, aiming it at a tire swing that she thought of an it appeared. So far she has made 3 out of 5 tries. Could turn into a small football game?
Rating: Probably PG just to be safe.
Status: Incomplete.

Layla was bored and looking for other forms of exercise. Layla had grown her proverbial rain forest in her room, all manner of plants grew in there, she had practiced her yoga and Tai chi, then she worked through what they taught her at Sky High in order to protect herself on missions, throwing daggers,(because it was pretty cool that her costume, in its entirety had show up. Armour, Sky High Sidekick survival belt, goggles, fire resistant, hair protector, cape and jet pack among all of her other tools of the trade that her team collected over the years. It must have been shipped here at the same time she was, because it was with her clothing at the swimming pool and when she got back to her room, her clothing, books and everything in her locker were already in her room. It was like the locker was shipped with her, just not in the same area. So weird.) So, here she was...routine gone through, as per usual, now she was just bored to death. School was so important to her, not having it everyday was a challenge. Layla traded in her throwing daggers then for a football, some fresh air and a target to aim it at, come on, it was the same principal! The application of a throwable object at a stagnant target, just less violent and the pacifist in her preened at that, but she never knew when throwing daggers might come in handy? Layla also realized that while here, she needed to keep up on her training. That meant swimming, hand to hand combat, survival training in the outdoors. Lastly, she would need to find a bow and shooting range soon enough to start working on her skills there, because Layla really sucked with it came to the bow, may be it had to do with the principal of how violent it seemed? Shooting an object made of meat with a sharp object. It squicked her to no end, as did the daggers, but Royal Pain made her realize you never knew when applied violence that did not take a life would be needed?

He made the goal and when he turned back around Faith had wandered off.

He walked over to Layla and sat on the ground beside her, wrapping his arms around her.

Layla squared her shoulders, took a deep breath and put on a huge, bright smile. "What are you doing, silly? We have a game to play." Layla said, standing then.

He stood up and kissed her temple.

"Yeah we do," he said softly, smiling warmly at her. He was a little worried about her.

Layla's heart was no longer into this game. She had no clue how to tell him that. "Um, right, whose turn was it then?" Layla asked softly.

"You wanna finish the game or you wanna go back to my place for ice-cream?" he asked softly. "Vegan ice-cream of course."

"They don't have vegan ice cream." Layla said with a smile. "Whose turn is it?" Layla stood up, looking at him.

"So, it is girls 10 point lead?" Layla asked softly. "So you are throwing me the ball now, right?"

"You still want to play for those terms? That is what we set and I don't turn on a promise." Layla stated softly, watching him run for the ball. Biting her lower lip as she did so.

"So you throwing and I'm catching?" Layla was all twisted up.

"Well I still want to be your boyfriend and you said I'd have to play you for it, and if I won I'd get to be your boyfriend."

"Yeah," he said. He was worried about her.

"You don't have to worry about playing some antiquated game to gain my affections. It's fine." Layla nodded. Walking slowly into position to wait for him to throw her the ball.

"Oh," he said, probably taking her meaning up wrong. He assumed she meant she'd changed his mind and that she didn't want him to be her boyfriend anymore.

He walked into position, his heart no longer in the game either.

Layla watched him carefully then. Her eyes narrowing, trying to figure him out. Layla stood there and waited for him to make the toss.

He turned to her and gave her a small smile that never reached his eyes.

He tossed her the ball and got ready to chase her. He was really disappointed she wasn't going to agree to him being her boyfriend. He'd somehow messed it up and he'd no idea how.

Layla watched him sadly then. Standing there and looking at him like he had hit her in the face with the ball. Layla caught the ball then, standing there still and staring at him.

"Nothing." Layla said quickly. Lowering her face then, she got into a defensive stance and charged him. Forcing the worry, the anger and tears into the game before them.

He didn't move when she started to charge him. He didn't try to stop her. He was worried about her.

"Something is up," he said softly.

Because he didn't move, Layla ran head long right into him with a yelp. She couldn't stop herself in time to stop herself properly.
