Party thread!
-Who: Everyone!
-What: Party time!
-When: Day 27, from 5 in the morning carrying on until 5 am the next day when everything will get cleaned up by the golems
-Where: Ballroom, club, bar, places around there
-Status: Complete
-Rating: Who knows! Could go from anywhere between G and R!

If one were to walk into the ballroom after 5 am, they would find brightly colored streamers hanging across the walls and from the ceiling. Confetti was constantly fluttering down from the ceiling, as if the tiny pieces were snow themselves. Tables had been set up along the wall with plates, silverware, and all sorts of food imaginable. The Planet had made sure to include everyone's favorite food on the menu. The dessert table was huge. There was also a drink table nearby, complete with a bar and a few golems manning it to monitor the intake of drinks as well as serve them up. The Planet seemed to be either apologizing for all the people missing or wanting the remaining people to get together and meet each other again.... or perhaps it was a little bit of both.

Violet had also found one of the notebooks as well but hers was in the style of an inventor's diary complete with her usual color style and matching black ribbon. "Curious, but I can not pass up a good mystery" as she quickly dressed and slipped her kit over one arm before heading downstairs to explore the party.

It had been an interesting few hours so far having played greeter for Miss Smith and trying to explain what exactly Mirage was. But she was hoping for a friendly face and maybe a fellow scientist to befriend. Of course Violet being Violet had several smaller inventions of her making in case anyone got curious, she loved to share her ideas after all.

After Al had found his room, he found an invitation to some party as well as a journal to write in in front of his door. At first, he'd spent time just checking out his room, which looked like the room he had had back before he and Ed had burned their house down and started on their journey. After awhile, though, he started to get bored and decided to check the place out. Might as well as see what was going on at the party.

Timidly, Al walked into the ballroom, sticking close to the walls and trying to remain as inconspicuous as possible. It was a good thing he didn't seem to stand out so much in his clothes, since not everyone was dressed in the same clothing style.

Finding a wall to lean against, Al relaxed and watched the people milling about.

Violet's eyes lit up when she spotted a boy about her age wander into the party. She could only hope he liked science as she wandered over and finally ask,"Just land here?" taking a decent guess since she had never seen him untill now. She had only her sprare notebook since the journal aka inventor's diary was still in her room, which looked like what she had in the family mansion before Count Olaf killed her parents in the fire and sent her and her brother and sister on the run.

Al saw the girl as she started to walk towards him. Don't talk to me, don't talk to me, don't talk to me, he pleaded silently. It was not good.

"Uhm. Yeah. Just a few hours ago, actually," Al admitted, forcing a smile and scratching a cheek with one of his fingers in a moment of awkwardness. "Do I stand out that much?" Standing out was the last thing Al wanted to do.

	"By at lest a week" but Violet was playing out the ongoing puzzle in her head. Of course that is when her inventor's book decided to fall onto the floor and land on her in room alarm system idea (in progress since the kidnapping). (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	A book the girl was holding fell to the floor and Al reached down to scoop it up. He noticed it was filled with interesting drawings but he closed it and handed it back without commenting on it. Since she handed it back, Al opened it and flipped through the pages. "You're an inventor? That's pretty neat." He studied one page, looking over the designs and reading through the little notes. "What sort of stuff to you invent? Anything in particular?" He thought of Winry for a moment and her inventing new automail for Ed. Al bite down on his lip as a pang went through him. Would he ever see Winry again? Or his brother?

"Just whatever comes to me, ideas come from anything and everything" Violet's eyes seemed to light up. "I actually have been testing an alarm system for the room after finding the parts" for now leaving out the fact she had indeed been kidnapped and had her allergy triggered (that mystery currently in the in progress file). "But I got a bed maker to work and I'm working on a few little things at the moment".

Al looked at Violet in surprise. "You actually made something that makes a bed?" he asked, very curious now. "Can I see it sometime? What do you need an alarm for? Isn't this place safe?" The sign had said no killing was allowed... Did people steal here? What would happen if someone did break the rule? Al was bursting with questions but mostly, he wanted to see these interesting things Violet made.

Al wondered if she was talking about the bed maker or the alarm system. He supposed she could have meant both. "Better to be safe than sorry, right?" he guessed with an understanding smile. "Do you know anyone else here or are you alone?" Like me, he thought silently. He'd only been here for a short time. Maybe there was someone he knew that he just hadn't run into yet...

"I'm alone but I did play greeter for an older woman this morning, she seems really nice" meaning Sarah Jane. 	"I'm the oldest. Klaus is a couple of years younger than me and Sunny is just a little one, almost 4 now" Violet spoke of her missing family. "My friend, Rose, has a little boy about that age. He's almost 3. I like reading too. My brother and I, we... went on a journey for a long time," he said slowly, feeling like he shouldn't give too much away about what his brother and he had done. "We were on a mission so we didn't have much free time. I think I'll probably have more time now though. Does this place have a library?"
