Party thread!
-Who: Everyone!
-What: Party time!
-When: Day 27, from 5 in the morning carrying on until 5 am the next day when everything will get cleaned up by the golems
-Where: Ballroom, club, bar, places around there
-Status: Complete
-Rating: Who knows! Could go from anywhere between G and R!

If one were to walk into the ballroom after 5 am, they would find brightly colored streamers hanging across the walls and from the ceiling. Confetti was constantly fluttering down from the ceiling, as if the tiny pieces were snow themselves. Tables had been set up along the wall with plates, silverware, and all sorts of food imaginable. The Planet had made sure to include everyone's favorite food on the menu. The dessert table was huge. There was also a drink table nearby, complete with a bar and a few golems manning it to monitor the intake of drinks as well as serve them up. The Planet seemed to be either apologizing for all the people missing or wanting the remaining people to get together and meet each other again.... or perhaps it was a little bit of both.

So, he'd bopped up to his room for a tick. A tick that seemed like an eternity. He'd walked up and opened the door with the mild expectation of a room you could find in any corner of London for a hundred quid any night of the week, instead he'd been greeted with a glimpse of Gallifrey. That was just taking things to a level of personal that the Doctor hadn't seen since his last encounter with The Master.

So, he left the room without even bothering to change and headed on down to the party. He could hear it so it wasn't too hard to find. The room wasn't full, and that sort of made him a bit more cheerful - the Planet hadn't taken too many people, it seemed. He was looking around the room, trying to find one of those golems Andy had mentioned, looking a bit sour faced, really.

"Where are you?" He muttered, squinting in the dimmed lights.

Rose Tyler was never one to turn down a party. Of course, she had debated with the idea when she had arrived in her room, which seemed so perfect for her. Almost an exact replica of her room on the Tardis, only with small touches which were reminiscent of her room from the flat in the Powell Estates. She had sat on her bed for a while, looking around, wishing so hard that she could hear the hum of the TARDIS. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't. With much effort, she pushed herself from her bed and changed into a fresh pair of jeans and a new t-shirt, which seemed to have been left there. Well she had found out about this planet providing everything they'd need, and apparently clothes weren't an exception.

Arriving at the party, she took a moment to glance around at what had been provided, taking in her bearings so she knew where everything was. She continued looking about, hoping for a least one person she knew. Face after face gave her nothing. Until one. One face she had only dreamed of seeing again, and her feet began to move without her instructions, almost at a run. Before she knew it, her arms were flung around the Doctor's neck, as she clung to him tightly. She had a feeling he wouldn't realise it was her, after all she had moved so fast, but she didn't care. She had him back.

There it was! The Golem was manning the bar - what a strange little creature it was, made up of rock and dust. It didn't make too well at blending in as it clearly wasn't one of those who were abducted since everyone else seemed more or less human. Taking a step forward he was all set on his way to have a few words with the creature when like a truck to the gut he felt somebody wrap their arms around his neck and cling.

"Hey, eh... uh..." He was tugging, trying to get the persons grip loose. "You must have me..." He could tell immediately his clinger was a blonde girl. A blonde, Rose shaped girl. A blonde, Rose shaped girl who looked a lot like Rose.

"You sticking planet!" He growled, making a quick tug at the girl. "You look so very much like her," he said quite civilly, before taking a deep breath and trying to shake off the rage that was boiling in his gut. "Hello, uh, right.." He said to no one in particular.

"So, who's in charge then? Because if you're trying to make this place homey you really shouldn't materialize rooms that can't exist and people..." He paused looking tenderly at Rose, "Who can't really, either," he leant in, "Sorry, 'bout this, but you really can't be you... long story..."

She clung on tightly, not wanting to let go. It had been way too long, and she longed to hold him again. She wanted to grab for his hand, entwine their fingers like normal, but her desire to hug him was too much.

Rose frowned when he pushed her back, then realised exactly why he had. This planet could give you whatever you wanted, maybe he thought people were possible too. Biting her lip, she thought how she could make it obvious it was her. She could mention every adventure they had, mention how they met. Tell him about Jack, Mickey or even her Mum. But somehow, in the back of her head, she knew exactly what would make him realise it really was her. Reaching for his hand, she held it gently, looking up at him, tears of joy and worry filling up her eyes.

"Always need a hand to hold."

He couldn't not sigh. He didn't like seeing Rose cry, even if the Rose just looked like Rose and couldn't be Rose at all. Even if the Rose felt like Rose, and said sweet things like Rose. Even grabbed his hand like his Rose would have.

"This damned planet," he looked over at the golem and back at Rose, "You..."

The light had flashed on in his mind, allowing for the most infinitesimal of a chance that the planet had yanked his Rose off that parallel world and deposited her here. "How'd you get here, Rose? How?" He didn't know if he ought to trust his instincts - this whole situation made the timelord feel a bit dizzy. He had a room shaped to look like Gallifrey and a girl, possibly only shaped to look like Rose. He didn't know which way to turn.

It was all he could do to cling to that familiar hand and hope against hope that the planet wasn't just screwing with him.

She could see the hope in his eyes, but it wasn't burning so bright, almost as if he was trying to prepare himself for the worse. She had to try and convince him she was real, because to her, there wasn't even a possibility he was a trick by the planet.

"We...some people on the other universe and I, we built this Dimension canon, so I could...Well get back to you. It started to work and well, I've been searching ever since."

She decided it best to leave out the part about the darkness. That...could be explained later.

It wasn't entirely fair to have one's heart drug across broken glass twice in one day and then be expected to react rationally and fairly and truthfully. He had Rose, right there in front of him. Truth be told, it's not like he could even pretend that he had ever forgotten her or replaced her or anything like that. Time had just dulled things a bit - made it feel like he was being hit by a baseball bat rather than stabbed through the heart when he thought of her hand slipping from the mechanism at Torchwood.

"Dimension cannon?" He knew his Rose Tyler was brilliant, there had never been any question of that. Would the planet make up a story for her? Would it make something up just to keep him appeased? That seemed like so much more trouble then even the planet was up for.

He couldn't keep himself from lurching forward and wrapping his arms around her, holding tight like he'd never let go again. "My Rose," he said keeping her there in a hug as familiar as his trainers.

She kept her eyes on him the whole time, hoping so much that he would believe her. She wasn't quite sure if her heart could take him rejecting her, and she was already preparing herself for the worse, just so she could soften the blow if it came. After all, she could just hide away from him, avoid him at all costs and let him believe she was just a fake, given by the planet. But then he was starting to question her, and surely he wouldn't waste his time if he was completely positive she was a fake.

"Yeah. It's hard to explain, but all I knew, or cared about, was that it could get me back with you."

Suddenly she was swiped up in his arms and she couldn't stop the grin. Her own arms held onto him tightly, and her eyes began to overflow with tears, especially as he began to say she was his. He knew, he believed her.

"My Doctor," she whispered against his ear, holding on like she would never let go.

In a way so deft that even Jack Harkness wouldn't have noticed the timelord had managed to pluck his sonic screwdriver from his pocket and was currently scanning his rose, the tell tale buzz not really helping him to be stealthy. Looking over her shoulder he squinted to his readings, pure old 20th century vintage human.

"Oh thank goodness!" He squeezed her tighter wholly convinced that even the planet couldn't confuse his screwdriver. "I'm so sorry Rose..." Just there he was about to launch into an explanation of the scan, about how one could never be too careful and all that when he heard a loud crash come from just behind them.

Dropping Rose he turned, screwdriver in hand only to find a man laying on the hardwood presumably following a fall out of the tile ceiling. "Oh bugger," He grabbed Rose's hand and tugged her in the general direction of the growing crowd. He wasn't about to miss his first spectacle.
