-Status: Incomplete

Of course, the lizards in the library were gleefully ripping out pages of books by the handful and tossing them in the air, letting out the lizard equivalent of a giggle as they watched the pages float down. Some had toppled over a few bookshelves and were using the now empty stacks to climb around on. Yet another fight had broken out here as well, resulting in books being hurled back and forth at each other, accompanied by angry shrieks that could be heard from the hallways. A few other lizards who were wandering said hallways came inside, wondering what all the commotion was all about.

(OOC: As the day goes on, more and more will appear. There will be about 200 total, so about four and a half for each person, including those who are staying inside, so those who are fighting will have more to take down.)

Ianto walked purposefully towards the library. As soon as he had seen Sarah Jane's journal message, his first thought was to make sure that they didn't ruin the books. When he arrived and stopped in the doorway, Ianto had to stop and stare for a moment at all the chaos. Hundreds of books lay in ruin, pages ripped out and scattered all around. Ianto held up his stun gun, anger surging through him. What ever the hell these lizard things were, they were not going to just walk away from this.

He glanced around and saw the person who had been in that swimming activity hiding under a desk. Not far away, he spotted another figure huddling under a different desk. This person he also recognized. "Gray?" he murmured. Ianto entered the room, heading towards the desks. Books could be replaced but people couldn't. "Gwen, go and help him!" he instructed to his teammate, motioning towards L. Someone he didn't know had made his way over to L; a new person, Ianto believed.

A lizard lunged at Ianto while he made his way over to Gray. Ianto made short work of it by shoving his stun gun into it. It jerked for a moment, then fell to the ground, knocked out.

	Gray hardly noticed Ianto approaching, his mind locked in terror and memories. He rocked slightly, lips moving, calling Jack's name but no sound escaped as tears ran down his cheeks. please...someone...help... (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Ianto ducked down so he could see Gray better, hoping he wouldn't frighten the child by sudden movements but now was really not the time to be moving slow. He held out his hand, glancing back and forth to make sure that no lizard was ready to jump on him. "Come on, you should get back to your room." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ianto grasped Gray's forearm, tugging the child towards him. "No one's going to take you, just stay with me," he said firmly, meaning both physically and mentally. If Gray had a flashback now, it could cause problems and Ianto just wanted to get Gray out of there so he could continue fighting and taking these things down.

Ianto was suddenly slammed into the ground, the breath knocked out of him, as a lizard jumped on top of and pinned him. Ianto kicked out viciously with his foot and the lizard howled in pain, backing up a bit as it connected. Ianto planted his foot squarely on the lizard's chest and shoved backwards as hard as he could, getting it off of him. He quickly got to his feet as the lizard quickly recovered and lunged at him again. This time, he was ready though, and the lizard ran right into his stun gun. It slumped to the floor and Ianto pushed it to the side before returning his attention to Gray, holding his hand out once again. "We've got to go now, Gray." His kept his tone calm but firm.

	Gray had started moving towards Ianto when the man got knocked back, causing Gray to cry out in fear and surprise. When Ianto had beat back the lizard creature and held out his hand Gray dashed out and took it, gripping it tightly. He wouldn't trip this time. He would not let go. Ianto made his way to the door as fast as he could, jabbing any lizards that dove at them with his stun gun. He made sure Gray stayed more or less in front of him so he wouldn't get grabbed from behind.

He didn't want to leave the battle but he also knew he had to get Gray out of there... Ianto glanced over at Gwen and was surprised to find that she looked... different, like she wanted to tear these lizards apart. "Gwen!" Ianto called out, waving her over. If there was one person he trusted in this room, it was Gwen and it looked like giving her something else to do wouldn't be a bad idea...

	After tossing the extra gun to Sarah Jane and fighting through a mob of lizards Gwen made it to Ianto and a little boy. But now she looked a little calmer and not as rage filled, having been able to kick some lizard tail actually helped. "Need me to keep an eye on the little guy?" not knowing at first this was Jack's brother. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Gray clung tightly to Ianto, eyes wide and panic filled again. He was trying hard to stay in the current moment but the chaos... The chaos was too much like then. He looked up at the woman as she approached then to Ianto questioningly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Ianto trusted Gwen to keep the lizards off their backs for a moment while he kneeled down in front of Gray, placing his hands on the boy's shoulders. "Gray, this is Gwen. She's a friend of your brother and I. You can trust her." He rose to his feet, speaking to Gwen now. "Gwen, this is Gray." His eyes held hers for a moment, hoping she would understand just who this was and hoping that she would panic about it. "Can you take him to his room? It's right across from Jack and I. Stay there with him until this is all over. Can you do that?" If Gwen wasn't willing, Ianto'd have to take him back... He wasn't going to send a child off in midst of all this, especially not Jack's little brother.

After clearing out a small herd of lizards via stun gun and a few well placed kicks Gwen knelt to Gray's eye level and shot Ianto a look that one said one thing,"Keep the lizards off my back, I'll take Gray" since her heart always took over when it came to kids. She offered Gray her hand,"I'm your brother's friend and you'll be safe with me" having shoved back her feelings one more time. This was not the Gray from her nightmares, this Gray was a scared little boy. "If you see Jack before I do tell him Gray is with me"
