open 🌸 early evening, everywhere
[With temperatures slowly dropping and days turning into night at earlier and earlier hours, it's probably not a surprise when more signs of winter start to manifest in the coming days, not quite fully there but close. Traces of ice that aren't quite snow, chilly winds, and overcast days. Definitely a shift from the sunny opportunities of magical dates and the like.

With all that, of course, there's the need for those warmer clothes to keep the cold at bay, and likewise an increase chance of finding them among the shops and bazaar. Thicker, warmer coats to put on, mittens and hats, supplies to help with the ice, or maybe you're just looking to restock on hot-cocoa for home. Today certainly seems like one of those days for it.

It's not so bad that braving the outside is out of the question, either, of course - if you like this sort of weather, it might even make for a nice walk, with the right attire and maybe a hand to hold to keep warm. For those that might prefer staying in, huddling up instead... it's a perfect excuse too.]

[Blinks, genuinely surprised-- it's not the first time he's said this to him, but he never would guess Keith would say it now. And he's definitely blushing now. Keith will likely feel the heat rise on his cheeks beneath his hands.]

Oh. [Oh! sladgasdlgasd; he looks at him helplessly for a moment, unable to do much but stare at him pouting and think that he's so damn cute. Then he smiles, utterly endeared and just a touch goofy almost-- alsdghsdgasd; complimented, and charmed.]

[He both sees and feels it beneath his hands and it just adds to his very solidly cemented opinion tbh. Even more so at his dumb pretty goofy smile. Goddamn it.]

Don't turn this on me. [I'm a gremlin. Tentatively, he brushes his fingers down his face, over his cheeks, a little like he's not fully settled in being allowed. (Never mind he might have done it anyway, touched his face like bros do and all that.)] I'm serious.

[His smile turns more indulgent-- the response is familiar, after all, and endearing all the same. He only hums in response, for a moment, accepting his dismissal.]

[Still, the touch to his face is distracting and he closes his eyes, his smile softening and letting out a little breath, leaning into that touch. mmf.]

[Ggghuhdf he's still really not gonna get used to that today or maybe ever, he thinks - shivering a little, watching him more quietly but intently when Shiro closes his eyes. For a moment his touch just lingers where his hands stay still on his face, something like unexpressed purpose to the pause.]

[Then he shifts to sit up better, moves his hands again and lightly lets his fingertips trace over his face, no particular rhyme or reason to it, just for the sake of it... slow and taking his time, brushing along his cheeks, his temple, his closed eyes. More carefully just at the edges of the scar across his nose, too. Taking it all in, mapping out the familiar and the new details, all of it honestly... Well. You already heard him. Even beyond that, Shiro always takes his breath away and now's no exception.]

[He stays still as he does that, letting him touch him as he'd like, not wanting to interrupt or distract him, or embarrass him. Still, his smile softens more the more he touches him, gentle through it all.]

[... He lets out a soft breath when Keith touches his scar, his smile turning just a touch tentative. He's gotten used to it there, really, but keeps reminding himself that Keith wouldn't be.]

	[Pauses a little then, not quite hesitant but maybe a touch of uncertainty to it, breathing out softly too and just watching his reaction.] Is it okay? [He asks very quietly, maybe not just meant about the scar. I just... [He knows that amusement, too, glad for it even as he kind of wrinkles his nose, though he doesn't pull away for it.]

You don't have to be worried about me. Is what I mean. [He may not be reading his expression exactly right but it seems worth saying anyway, honest and sure.] I'm not gonna get that overwhelmed.
