Fortunately, everyone passed last month, so no one is in danger of being cut come December, but if you're in need of a blitz to avoid going on Standby, this is your chance to let us know so we can tag the dickens out of characters in need!

Alternately, if life's got you too busy to make check, either in regards to making tag quota or being able to post your activity before the results go up on the 4th, now would be an excellent time to request a hiatus or make arrangements with either myself or Mod Paul to cover that.

Hey, guys, I know it's been a quiet month so far, and a fair part of that has been me being really slow on responding. Work has been really taking a lot out of me with some of the projects we've been doing (I pulled a 15-hour workday on Monday that was almost pure physical labor), and I've just been way too exhausted to tag and set things up like I should have. I know I've got another big project at the end of this month, among others, so I am marking myself on a hiatus through the first week of October just in case I don't have it in me to pull a blitz (especially with the next mod reset being the 30th of the month). That's not to say I'm not going to TRY to post--I just want to be sure I'm covered under a worst-case scenario.

That said, I've already been speaking with Mod Paul, and I'm not going to let any of you be punished AC-wise just because I'm not able to cut it. I appreciate your understanding!

In the meantime, though, if you haven't yet participated in the most recent plotting meme, make sure you do so!

And we're still looking for a volunteer to be October's Player of the Month! Just comment below or contact a mod if you're interested in that! ♥

Secondly, as a reminder, you all have until midnight CST on Thursday night to get your 5 IC tags in before the activity check. As always, if you don't think you'll be able to make it, let me know--I'll be happy to work something out with you. But, you DO have to tell me, or else I'll expect that you plan to make it before the deadline.

Also, don't forget to be sure you're all tagging your posts. It makes it much easier for me when I do the activity checks.

June is fast approaching, so be watching for upcoming developments, seeing as we have a Solstice AND our one-year anniversary next month! Again, if you have any suggestions or things you want to see for the anniversary and the upcoming Year Two, give me a shout-out!

Changes are coming, godlings. We have the emergence of two new antagonists from the mortal side of things. In Washington, we have Roger Warren, head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He's a warhawk, and would love nothing more than to wipe the godlings off the face of the planet. Down south, we also have Mimi Osmond, the outspoken leader of the Foundation for Christian Families (a fast-rising far-right organization) who preaches that the godlings are abominations from hell. You get the idea. They're going to be stirring up some trouble, so watch out for them. ^_^

Meanwhile, as a reminder, PLEASE post on the gloss if you haven't done so! If you don't post, it means that I get to make up what your characters have been doing when I put it in the Past Days!

Well, Metem, sadly Dan had to drop due to schedule pressures (though he is willing to rejoin us should he find the time again), so we are now without Gawain and Loki, who are to be considered "missing."

Where this leaves us in terms of lifting the Greek moratorium, we now need 2 more Celts, 1 more Hindu and 1 more Norse before we can remove it.

Meanwhile, remember there is 1 more week for the month of February, so make sure all your characters have their tags in. If you don't think you'll be able to make it, please, by all means, talk to me and we'll see about finding a solution.

Just because of the circumstances regarding the event going longer than expected, and having a player drop and all, I'm going to give all characters a free pass for the month of November. That said, however, normal activity will be required for the month of December, and as a reminder, any character who doesn't have at least 5 posts, comments and/or logs between now and New Year's will be going on the Standby list. If anyone needs help plotting, or knows they'll be unable to get that much activity in, talk to me (AIM, email, text message, whatever works for you), and we'll work something out.

Okay. So, that went wrong. I apparently didn't make it clear enough that nobody except Asclepius, Erato and Nimue retain their sense of self. EVERYONE except for those three have BECOME their costumes. Aphrodite is Queen Titania. Apollo is Jareth. Hades is Harry Dresden. And so on. I stated this here and no one asked questions so I thought this was understood.

That said, please delete or alter your entries. The plot will not proceed until this happens. When you have this accomplished, reply to this post and we will continue.

Things are going great--much fun with the mini-event!

Just some quick things:

There are still players who have not posted on the gloss post, so please do so! That way we can keep the Past Days Digest accurate.

Also, though July's rather got overlooked with the event, there will be an activity check for the month of August on Thursday, September 1st. Don't worry, the mods will be doing the checking (no need for players to do anything special), but if you have characters who don't have at LEAST 5 tags for this month, you have the next few days to post! Remember, it can be any combination of posts, comments and logs.

And, a note to remind everyone that our Plotbunny Mod will be at DragonCon from September 1st to September 5, returning on the 6th. Your other mods will be here if you have any questions or needs during that time.

Since the event is nearly wrapped up, please be aware that we will be having a gloss that will bring us up to the present date here very soon. It will span multiple days, so feel free to start planning and plotting what your characters might have been up to! Further details about exactly how long the gloss spans will be coming soon.

Please remember that we will allow backdated logs and entries for things taking place over the course of the glossed dates--just remember to mark the date on the post!

First off, everyone, I think we've done a fabulous job with getting the game started!

Just a reminder: everyone needs to make sure they're tagging their IC posts. I know we all forget sometimes, but it's really important so we can make sure everyone gets credited for activity.

And a new change! Starting next game day (that is, TOMORROW), standard game-day length is going to change to a 1:1 ratio. So, it'll start playing out in real-time. For certain events, though, game days will be extended. We'll let you know if such is the case.

Building off that, we WILL have an upcoming "gloss" here soon to repaginate the game calendar with the real-time calendar after in-game Father's Day, so be prepared for that.
