[Gino's spending the morning in the HQ with his communicator off, trying to get caught up after last night's disasters. So many injured -- with no real explanation yet -- no one taking the credit -- Acumen seemingly in denial -- and everyone is completely right to be uneasy about this. The monsters are gone now, but what if they return tonight?

[He's a little harried, and more than a little tired after a night ~~handwaving~~ helping, but he's also expecting visitors, so feel free to stop by.]

[well, that doesn't answer his question. he sighs, but, professionally] Before, my understanding is that there were raptors -- literally dinosaurs, created by a woman who is still here, but apparently not... well.

But those were real animals. Sentience knew about them, and someone took credit for them, and their bodies didn't disappear when you turned your back on them. This isn't like that at all.

	[she's not really concerned with that right now. she'll worry about being polite some other time.] So then there's no way she could have been responsible this time? Acumen doesn't even seem to be aware that they made an apperance last night. They weren't mentioned at all in the announcements this morning. I wonder if he had anything to do with it... 	I highly doubt it. Did you hear her rambling to herself about butterflies over the network the other day? Yeah, Acumen has no idea what we're talking about. I don't think Acumen's at fault, it must be someone else here. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I did, although I was not aware of who that was. It's hard to believe someone like that could create those things we saw last night. Or something like them, at least. [she's silent for a moment] That little girl Road has powers of illusion, doesn't she? Perhaps those were illusions of hers. She could have had them attack her to draw away any suspicions. But then what would have been her real goal? [frowning a tiny bit, tilting his head back] The Exorcists who are here, her real enemies, all seem to have pulled through mostly-unscathed. They're sturdy enough that things like those are just an inconvenience.
