[Unlike her usual good mood, Beatrice seems to be rather...subdued. Now that the lights are back on and things seem to be quite festive her mood seems to have taken a turn for the worst. To escape from the odd placement of mistletoe and cheerfulness she's wandered to the Butterfly Pavilion to think things over and reflect. Besides, the appearance of mistletoe and snow means that the holidays are soon. Which are always unfair to her. Beatrice never, ever receives gifts. Scornful woman much?
Her quiet meanderings through the pavilion bring her to find the corpse of a petite, orange butterfly laying still on the floor.]
...How pitiful.
[But she picks it up anyway, cupping it in her palms as she whispers to it quietly.]
Come now, try and remember. Try and remember the beautiful form you once had...
[There's a little flash of gold and the tiny creature in her hands stirs, only to spread its wings and fly away. She may not show it on her face but she feels noticeably tired now and immediately flops down onto one of the benches within the pavilion. She feels light headed and dizzy and quite fatigued. How pitiful it is - that it's taken so much energy to make an insect awaken from death. This discovery does not bode well. It does not bode well at all.]
