It's so nice to have a little light again. Even if it's somewhat unnerving, it's much better than just those horrid emergency lights.

Why did Mr. Sentience leave? Was he finally so fed up with our complaining that he abandoned us?

[ Someone's out pretty late. Not that Teito has a little bad habit of this, oh dear no. Never. His eyes have adjusted a little to the darkness and he's finally out and about looking around. The previous day he had been too frantic looking for a pink dragon that hadn't really shown up with him at all to really be level headed and give the place a look over. Earlier, with the arrival of Mikage.. That had taken precedence over everyone and everything. Again, no time to wander around.

It's something he's done at the church in the middle of the night before. Usually trying to escape it, actually. Teito already knows that there isn't a way out. They're under water, after all. Not even he can hold his breath long enough to attempt an escape, not that he wants to with Mikage really being here. As a human. Who isn't dead yet. It's really just that he had been waiting for the right moment. Hopefully he can explore a bit without people bothering him too much. People being Mikage.

While he is so very glad his friend is back... That's another problem. What is Teito supposed to do now? What's his goal? Dream? He couldn't answer that at the church, not really. He couldn't figure out a way to atone for letting Mikage die in the first place. Now that said person is here... What's next? Teito is just... Just a little confused. So many questions and so few answers.

Come to think of it... Why isn't Ayaname here?

That's when his stomach growls a little and he realizes that he hasn't eaten anything in almost two days. Just... Where is the kitchen? Or, better, yet... Maybe a garden? ]

[Have a grumpy girl perched on a chair in the kitchen. She's illuminated by a dim light just off camera. She looks rather annoyed about something, almost as if someone had wronged her earlier. Road's just kicking her feet repetitively against the chair, but other than that she's not moving at all.]

[Then suddenly she's tilting her head back and singing. It's almost a soft hum and it's in a language one usually wouldn't understand, except the communicator is translating it just fine.]
