Welcome to the MarinaNova HMD! This is optional, but encouraged.

• List your characters for which you'd like feedback. We have a form below if you like forms!

• Leave your tactful and considered thoughts, questions, concerns, praise, suggestions, etc. for others.

We strongly encourage you to make this a dialogue. Find out what went into actions, decisions, and characterization and you may come to understand it better. Hopefully you'll also be in the best position to clearly communicate your own concerns. Results will be more satisfactory for everyone if one person isn't on the offensive while the other is on the defensive.

Avoid leaving someone a wall of text. This can be intimidating even with the most careful of wording and best of intentions.

Don't gang up on someone. You may have a different way of wording something, but unless you have something new to contribute, consider letting it go if there are already others saying it.

Be constructive and considerate.

• Since there is no plotting meme during months with an HMD, please feel free to do that here too.

• Contact a mod if you have any problems.

Comments: i've been slow due to rl - i'm a full time university student plus i work part-time, so i tag when i can and sometimes that means i can't tag for a few days, but i do continue threads until i feel like they've finished. i'm a bit worried about cordelia's voice and the pace i'm taking her at, since i'm still getting used to 7 days ooc = 1 day ic. i wanted to bring in a second character, but i think i still need to get cordelia properly settled and myself. but any crit, suggestions, etc i'd really like to hear!

my goal is to get her more cr so i can introduce her visions so she can start helping the helpless.

It has been such a joy to RP with you, holy wow you tag forever and I love it. And I can totally understand gaining a footing because of the pace of the game; it took me awhile to get used to it and kind of try to meter things out, but I wouldn't stress too much over it if I were you.

Her voice and reactions and motivations are all shining through; she's very much Cordelia, but it's easy to see that she's also grown in so many ways. I think the canon point can be difficult to juggle and so far, you've done a lovely job with it.

I agree it's probably best for you to feel settled with Cordelia first -- gaining new CR usually helps me with that, because you don't feel confined to your canon bubble. And don't overload yourself -- maybe pick one thing you think you need to work on, and pay attention to that for the month of September. Oh, also; breaking down OOC days into hour segments helped me get used to the pace, too. Think that, y'know, Monday is breakfast, Wednesday is lunch, etc? Puts it into perspective for me.

Honestly, if there were anything I would say I'd never expected over years of playing Faith, it's that she would be comforted to be in Cordelia's presence beyond just knowing that Cor will call her out on her shit. But I'm so excited about the way their relationship is going! Ahhhh. I love it.

i'm gonna second what eri said about breaking down the week into hours. it really helps me to think of monday as morning, wednesday as afternoon, and the weekend as night. it helps me to time what my characters were doing at those points in the day better, and if there's anything i can do to help you with the pacing, let me know! you know where to find me even when i'm being fail and not sitting on aim as much as i used to.

NOW TO CORDY who is just aldkfjlasjdlfkjsdlkfj perfect. i've flailed at you over her before, and i'm going to second everything i've said in those instances to avoid sounding like a broken record here. i am so, so glad that you decided to app here and give me another shot at playing against your wonderful cordelia. and we need to do more with these idiots here -- provided you're around later, i'm going to be putting up a post for my idiot that we could get some champion and seer times out of? i also finally tagged back on the drunk thread since ij decided not to send me that notif. B|

your darla is also perfection, since you dragged her to fourth wall. i'm glad you did, and i think it's going to do a lot of good for angel in the wake of so much emo to have gotten the chance to see not only connor and fred, but darla as well, so thank you for bringing her in. tara, too. sookie was glad to see tara again, and you play her brilliantly. seriously, best tara ever. and your nora is fabulous, from what i stalked of her convo with eric. i totally get needed to get your first character settled before bringing in another, but should you decide to bring nora in next app round, i look forward to the potential cr between her and sook, being that eric is all ~mine~ and nora was all I WANT TO EAT THE FAIRY in the finale.

I can't imagine how I've ever functioned in a BtVS cast before without a Cordelia after having your Cordelia around for even this short time. She's so amazing and Cordelia-like. I looooove how she gets revertigo around Xander. So much complicated and amazing to deal with there. You're so thoughtful and in character and sassy and fun and everything good with her.

I'm already excited about your second character and I don't even know who it is yet! But yes, take all the time you need. The day thing can definitely take some time to get used to. (I was in a game once that was more like 1 real month = 1 RP day. And then plenty of 1:1 games. It changes the atmosphere of the game so much. They all have their pros and cons, but it is different!)

I also need to hit her up with non-Xander characters too.
