He really is the worst not!dad ever.

The question makes him blush and shrug uncomfortably. When he answers it's with that typical Kanji bluntness that can strike right to the heart of a matter sometimes. "All my life I've been teased for liking stuff girls are supposed to like. I always try to act all manly so people don't give me shit about it. So yeah, this is kinda a kick in the balls to wake up to, ya know?"

	He is! But at least he tries? He watches Kanji with interest as he explains, trying to decide which of several courses to take in response. A quick grin. "No, I meant more, try not to let being a girl today get to you and just get on with your day as usual. Show them that what they've done to you doesn't faze you, because you're already really secure in your identity."

Probably still too many big words in there for Kanji, though...
