[There are are few differences in Kitty today. She's a little shorter than usual, her hair is longer and has more poof, she has no idea she's a mutant because her powers haven't activated yet, and oh, yeah, she's twelve.

As far as she knows her parents are still alive, the world isn't embroiled in a devastating, all-encompassing genocide, and the most stressful part of her life—this situation excluded—is trying nail the latest dance routines so she gets a solo in the next performance. But this isn't Chicago and it sure isn't Kansas. She's walking around the dome, looking like a tourist—glancing up at the dome every so often, marveling over bots, and very possibly looking at you—yes, you—with great interest.]
