[ MORNING-NOON ]

[ It's a damn good thing he's basically indestructible because just getting off the couch this morning was an adventure and a half. It's also a good thing he fell asleep wearing the suit or you'd currently have a two inch tall naked man running around the dome as fast as his little legs would carry him. Stairs and other people's feet and simple every day tasks like getting food in him are proving extra difficult right now, so he's spending a good chunk of the morning trying to get someone's attention so he can hitch a ride to a Thumbelina sized brunch.

At least he can say he's taken a shit in a plant pot now. That's something. ]

[ AFTERNOON-INTO THE NIGHT ]

[ Eventually the tiny person deal wore off, thankfully. Eventually Wade decided to peel off the suit and shower off all the sweat and grime that comes with being a tiny person and needing to run a mile just to leave the apartment. Eventually, Wade looked at himself in the mirror, without the mask and then a good half hour passed where he did literally nothing else.

He's not as naive as to think that his problem is fixed. No one is that lucky and besides, he looks younger by at least half a decade. It takes him a while to drag himself away from the mirror, away from prodding at smooth skin and running his fingers through his hair - hair - again but eventually he does manage to get dressed, go outside, not waste another moment of looking hot again.

He can be found all over the place, enjoying what's left of the day, hitting up bars and keeping an eye peeled for a certain spaceship Captain. It's undecided if it's because he wants to show off his old look or if he's avoiding Kirk so as to not give him second thoughts. ]

_{[ Kirk hadn't been surprised that Wade was gone in the morning when 'she' woke up. They each had their own routine and while it was nice waking up with him, it wasn't a requirement of their arrangement either. Besides, it gave him some time to, well, deal with the new state of his body. Her body? Of course, he hadn't know Wade was still there just very small.

The first stop had been to the clothing shop to get something that fit a bit better than the jeans he usually wore - bigger hips now and all, and some smaller shoes, but that was about it. He refused a bra despite having a somewhat nicely endowed chest (getting them on and wearing one was very different from taking them off). After that it had just been a day of, well, coping. Was that the right word? His body felt different, but he wasn't, so it was not as if he did much different.

Eventually he headed to one of the bars, deciding a drink was in order for the day, running a hand through his now slightly longer hair (what would be termed a bob cut) before leaning against the bar next to someone he didn't immediately recognize, folding his arms beneath his chest (that seemed the most comfortable position by far). ]}

What's it take for a guy to get a beer around here?

[ He didn't recognise him immediately - blame the dazed confusion he's found himself in most of the day, first from being tiny and then from being hot - but it was difficult not to be drawn in by a woman like that. There was a blatant lingering look on the ample cleavage followed by a somewhat self-conscious glance elsewhere as he realised just what the heck he was doing. Respecting women, remember that? They're not pieces of meat, Wade, Jesus.

Still suspecting nothing, he flags down the bartender with the universal signal for two beers. ]

I, uh... I gotta say, you do you and all that and I don't mean to be conversative but it's been a really long time since I saw a guy as well built as you.

_{[ Kirk titled his head towards the person talking, struck with a strange sense that he knew the person. The voice sounded familiar, intimately so, but he was unsure why because the face was not the one he would have paired with that voice.

Still, the guy was buying him a free beer, and he wasn't bad looking, so why not enjoy it? Maybe the guy was new, so why not give them a warm welcome?

He smiled at Wade, all the dazzle and charm still there, the lips as soft and full as they had been in his male form, except perhaps they formed more of a cupid's bow, were a touch pinker. ]}

And then something occured to him. Recent development. Kind of how he usually doesn't look like this, nor was he two inches tall. His brow creased into a frown and then raised as he figured it out. Well, maybe. It'd be goddamn typical, considering this is the only person in the entire prison he was nervous about meeting. ]

[ He casually took a swig of his own beer, even as his heart threatened to leap up in his throat and choke him. ]

The voice. It struck him then, staring at the other man, why that voice was familiar. Why it was so intimately familiar, in that he could hear it in his ear, close and warm and aroused. He could hear it telling him how it had come about by cruelty, that molted skin, and how it hadn't always been this way.

Kirk let out a laugh, eyes sweeping up and down Wade, reaching out to brush delicate, small fingers across the arch of his smooth jaw (rather missing the rougher texture he was used to). ]}

He didn't to be shallow, but he had to admit that he did cut a better figure this way. Which wasn't to say he would reject him if this went away, of course, but - well, one couldn't deny this version was more aesthetically pleasing.

He smiled softly, handing dropping again, curling beneath his breasts as his other hand ran a finger around the rim of the bottle. ]}

[ The inspection did nothing to help his nerve and he swallowed again, went for the beer again to try and battle his suddenly very dry mouth. Knowing this was Kirk made it both incredibly weird and easier to cope with - he could oogle freely, for one. ]

I had an adjustment period this morning.

_{[ Where he did freak out, among... other things, but mostly freak out and then realize what must be happening - like with the glitch that made everyone think it was twenty years in the future. This was the same thing and he would just have to ride it out. Honestly, it wasn't all bad was it? There was the disconnect between thinking himself male in a female body, but there was nothing he could actually do about it now, so why not just ride it out? There was nothing stopping him from doing the normal things he did besides.

He put his beer bottle down and sidled in closer to Wade, wrapping his arms around his shoulders, pressing his chest flush to Wade's. It took a distinct effort not to gasp, his breasts rather sensitive in their newness, nipples hardened from the cool air and now the tingle of being so close to his - partner? Lover? Red band mate? Whatever worked. ]}
