Whatever.

[He doesn't try anything. Mal's not a fan of not feeling in control, and this maze has him feeling completely out of control. Scaring Nico seems like the perfect way to lose his only guide out of here. He supposes he should make some sort of small talk as they wend their way through.]

Other than scaring poor unsuspecting people in the maze, you... uh... doing allright?

[Mal knows enough about people to know when they're not okay. Hell, he's the king of dodging questions. And unless they're a member of his crew, he really doesn't care about it. Even if they're members of his crew, as long as it ain't affectin' the work, he might not say anything. Unless it's Kaylee.
