I love you. [He's probably not ever going to get over saying that to him. And that right there is the biggest different between him and Jack, the thing that makes each of their relationships work so well. He and Jack have always communicated best through sex. It's what works for them, the way they get through the good times and the bad ones and stay connected. It always has been. Spike is more talking and romance and emotional connection and having things so different makes him appreciate both of them more.]

Just think, a hundred days ago we were barely speaking to each other and now here we are dancing at one of these things. I'll admit I didn't really see that coming.

[Part of it is because everyone already knows and most of them likely disapprove, either because Spike is not exactly the most well liked person here or because Ianto cheated on Jack for this. But knowing that somehow makes him not care. There was a big grand announcement when it first happened after all, so if everyone knows who cares about being discrete? If people are going to stare they may as well see how they feel about each other, how intense all this is. He's not going to put on a show or anything but he doesn't care if people notice how his hands slide down to grope at Spike's ass, letting him pull forward and grind against that hand.
