My favourite too. [He grins as he leads her out onto the floor, because he always loves dancing with Kitty. It's one thing they have that he doesn't have with Ianto in the same way - obviously, slow dancing with Ianto is always enjoyable but he doesn't have the training or the flair for it that Kitty does.

As seems to keep happening for Jack this evening, the music playing is swing, and he leads Kitty into a fast, fun jive, grinning wider as it rekindles memories in his mind.]

Reminds me of our first dance together back on day 200!

[There's so much teamwork that happens in dancing. Even when your partner is the one handling the heavy lifting you have to be vulnerable and fluid enough to be responsive to their movements and guidance. She wouldn't be able to execute a move like this with just anyone. It requires a degree of trust which she has in understandably short supply. But for Jack? She goes around the world with an amused smile.]

How do you know I'm not the one giving you an anniversary dance right now?

[This sort of move, especially, is all about teamwork and certainly not something he would attempt with just anyone. But he and Kitty have known each other for 203 days and are, through various games of the wardnes, rather intimately acquainted with each other's bodies, not to mention having faced countless dangers together. There's a depth of knowledge and there's trust - which means they can have fun like this together, even if they can't go above the PG rating.

He laughs as he sets her lightly back on her feet again, exhilarated.]

Dirty. [She gives him a teasing smile. Just a little enticing. She is having a lot of fun for someone who is going to go off and get a blue band with another man tonight. Somehow it feels like Jack operates beyond everything else. Like he's just out of phase with the rest of her life. And sometimes she's on that same plane with him, but it's always temporary.]

It's not the worst gift. [She loves dancing.]
