[ To no one's surprise, Chuck is having the time of her life because of course she is. This may be her favorite anniversary celebration yet and sure, maybe she should've changed for the dance but what's the fun in that? How often do you get to wander around in a dinosaur onesie? (Every single day after today, that's how often. She's not returning this.)

Breaking away from the festivities, Chuck makes a beeline for Kitty. It's been a little while since they chatted. ]

Mmm. [She doesn't say much on that. Sad for them that they can't. Happy for them that they would. Sad for herself that she can't. But not that sad because she's not in a position to be doing that with anyone at the moment anyway.]

Do Nico and Hazel know this? Actually, I don't think I even know a Hazel. [Are you just assigning people colors as identities?]

	Hazel is his sister — half-sister, I think? But you can't be a half-person so I think she should just be his sister, period. [ She likes Hazel a lot, even though she hasn't really had the chance to get to know her all that well yet. ] Nico calls me mom, so I hope he knows it. That'd be weird, otherwise. [If Nico was calling her half to distance her then there'd be that but she assumes he isn't.] Yeah, that would be a lot of name confusion from Chuck if he doesn't mean it. 	I'm not even so sure about the pressure part, to be honest. He needed a mom and I want kids, so... it seemed pretty pressure-free. Family is important, we should grab any chance we can to have one. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Hmm. [The least committal sound ever. It's not that she disagrees. In fact, it's pretty obvious looking through her life that she's been seeking out families every since hers was taken from her. She's had varying success and lost many more people she though of as family along the way. Reaching out is hard. Not reaching out is harder. But it still makes it hard for her to talk about it lightly or joyfully.] Well, whatever works. [It does make her miss Nathan again. He was in no way young enough to be her son, but...he was kind of something like that.]
