BEACH
[There just seems to be something off from the moment Kazuki opened his eyes this morning. The entirety of this situation - which still is so very new - must be getting to him. It's not for the first time, but presently he's more unsettled than he has been.

He finds himself upon the beach before he can really think much of it. There's familiarity to it, but it's not home. This is not his island, be it Watatsumiya, or, his true homeland, Tatsumiya. Even so, he's seated with his shoes and socks off, knees drawn up, his toes buried into the sand.

He wonders what he's even looking out towards. The horizon isn't real. More so, though, his gaze keeps lifting skywards, as if waiting for something.]

AROUND
[Finally feeling a fair bit lighter than he was earlier today, Kazuki has been all over Marina on his newly acquired bicycle, something he's wanted for years. It's beyond obvious that he's enjoying himself, but probably could do with slowing down a little. At least he's in complete control with his steering, right? Feel free to find him all about the Dome!]

[ Strangely enough, the fake weather and appearance was quite welcoming for a certain human teen. Something had been strangely off with his mood set since he woke up the following day after seeing medical attention and possibly receiving some information about the unfamiliar place that he had to familiarize himself with.

He was walking along the shoreline, his facial expression much softer than it had ever been, gazing at the sea in unfamiliarity and awe. He was always sick, thus seeing the sea, or venturing to the beach were never really doable. As he was strolling along the shoreline, he noticed that there was someone else within the premise as well. He's somewhat curious but at the same time, slightly wary.

As much as he wanted to trust people and socialize with them, he never really found any contentment in them. ]

	[For a long moment Kazuki pays no mind to the fact that someone else has drawn closer. It's nothing unusual at all, the beach being of course open to all. However, while maybe any other time he might have said hello, there's nothing. Home. Being here. The fact that I'm beginning to kind of like this place, regardless of it also being unsettling, even though I shouldn't be.

[There's a faint and very brief smile at the corners of his mouth.]

I've lived on a small island all my life. I've always loved the ocean. . . and it isn't silly. I think this place can be as real as you want it to be for you.

I suppose so. I don't dislike it here much.

Aaa, I wonder what home will be like as well. It isn't surprising to feel unsettled about a place.

Right? The whole part about different worlds, even universes and dimensions. . .

[And yet all of that isn't a new or impossible concept to him. It hasn't been since he first learned of the true state of his own world, when he was a young teen.

He quietly hums to the question. Despite having lived on a secondary island for two years now, it was the one they all had to migrate to. The one he speaks of - Tatsumiya Island - is his true home.]

Everyone knows everyone, so we're a tight knit community. There's lots of little shops, and a school for the collective children who're around. We swam a lot, and when I was younger we made our own fun [rather than things like technology] playing games like ocean baseball and such. It's very mountainous and filled with forestry, so it really has its own beauty, even though it's man made, completely self contained, and the last remnants of Japan.

	It's all virtual reality. Our physical bodies are encased in pods. I'm unsure of the exact specifics as to how our surroundings are so flawlessly created, or why we still do things like eat and sleep, only that that's just how it is. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
